Apart from a building with lots of history and character, it is filled with a great food options (restaurant or café style), great seatings outside, lots of free and paying shows. Its brilliant on any Sunday afternoon, vibrant during festivals. Lots going on all the time.

Great indoor / outdoor bar and restaruant bar food is above average. Can be very lively on holidays and weekends I believe. The Watt Bar is the main place.

Great markets on a Saturday if you are a foodie. We walk down along the river with our market trolley, great Saturday morning thing to do. Also a great place to see live shows, downstairs is the Watt restaurant also a great feed; try the pork cutlet!

Carrie the musical was showing when we went there last week. The powerhouse offers venues for dinner, drinks and theatre. It's quite pricey, and unless you are short of options, not a place I would choose to eat. Free Parking is available, but fills up quickly, after which you will struggle to park legally in the residential streets nearby.

Went to this attraction for the first time to see an amazing show called "Dangerous Liaisons" (the show was fantastic). It is a refurbished, very old power generation station with numerous performing arts theatres (old but comfortable), relaxing bars and more formal dining options. Everything is spotlessly clean but still showing original machines and fittings. Some walls show street art,... More

This is a great venue at any time of the day or night, the food is excellent and the view is hard to beat. Great coffee or a wine to relax and take in the atmosphere.

On our Monday visit in January the place was as dead as a dodo; nobody there and nothing happening. I checked with a member of staff who said there was 'nothing going on today'. So clearly it depends upon when you visit as to what you get.

The building houses theatre, music, dance, restaurant, bar, etc. Originally it was a power station in the 1920s and decommissioned in the 1970s. The outer shell of the building remains with the interior very industrial feeling with multipurpose spaces. It is very trendy and hip. When I was there they had family time with crafts and books for toddlers and... More
