Great day out at Southbank Parklands - plenty to do for the whole family, you can jump on a ferry and have a ride on the Brisbane River, the markets are great on the weekend, the manmade swimming pool is great for everyone, plenty of options for eating.

The best views require a climb up 100 narrow steps to River Terrace, for... More

Great place to go for a run or walk. Good food and drink from the cafés, restaurants and bars around the parklands, but can be a tad on the dear side. Lots of BBQ spaces near to the patrolled beach and lagoon - perfect for family and friend gatherings. Can be noisy and over crowded during the summer school holidays,... More

There are lots of eateries nearby. All in all a great inexpensive day out, combined with a ferry ride (the children called it a fairy ride) that amused... More
