The QPAC actually has several venues. I've only been in one of them. It appears at least some of the venues share the same lobby area. The auditorium I was in had sight lines that were good from all seats. It certainly was comfortable enough. And the performance was enjoyable, as well.

Recently I was privileged to see Ray Chen and the Australian Youth Orchestra at the Lyric Theatre in Brisbane. What a performance! I don't believe you'd see better anywhere in the world. The orchestra was wonderful and as for Ray Chen, his playing was sublime. All this for $49. Congratulations to management at QPAC for supporting young talented musicians at... More

The Lyric Theatre provided spacious seating and great viewing even from the back of the circle. With a full house, exiting the theatre was a slow process.

I visit the theatres - concert hall and lyric - to attend a range of shows each year. Seats are comfortable and reasonably spaced and there's no bad seat in terms of sight and sound. The complex is close the central business district located immediately across the river. There is parking under the complex, but if audience members want to... More

The Centre is just wonderful as a venue for the ballet and with second row seats at Romeo and Juliet were were just blown away by the performance. Lovely sculptures are located at entrances to the auditorium which provide an additional artistic experience.

I went to the QPAC on Saturday 5th July 2014 for a performance of Romeo and Juliet by the Queensland Ballet. The performance was absolutely world class and credit is due to the company for bringing to Brisbane renowned dancers such as Carlos Acosta. QPAC is a very good venue for this kind of shows, the acoustic is excellent and... More
