Given the hype, and being familiar with the animated movie, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to see the stage version of “The Lion King”. Alas, when we checked the seat availability for December and January on the Website, seats were very sparse. By and by, we found and booked a couple of seats (G31 and G32) for... More

Dear Patron, Thank you for all of the feedback you have shared with us. Sadly, we can completely understand how demand for The Lion King may have made finding ideal seating difficult. We are so glad that you persevered and were able to see the show. We appreciate the chance to understand exactly how your experience on the night played... More

I've been to QPAC for a number of events and absolutely love the place. The staff are friendly, they serve drinks and ice-cream and the venue is great.

Over the years, I have enjoyed many musicals, artists and concerts at the Concert Hall and Lyric Theatre. The concert hall, whilst it does not have the old world charm of Broadway, is acoustically brilliant. A perfect compliment to talented artists. Parking can be a challenge, so pre-book if you get the option. Complimented by cafe Restuarant bars and an... More

Dear Shane, We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed Spamalot. We loved having them hear and the laughs were echoing around the place for hours after the curtain fell, so we understand exactly what you mean. Thank you also for your feedback. We appreciate the insight from a visitor coming to us for the first time and will be... More

I have visited the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) many times over the years - the fact that the shows are usually packed just goes to show how popular the venue is, and the number of great performances held there. The venue is clean, and the staff are lovely and very helpful. I recently visited QPAC to see The Lion... More

Lyric theatre seats very uncomfortable. Arm rests too high, seats very narrow and rows close. Luckily the show was only 2.5 hours long

Got to see the Lion King recently...was fantastic. Unfortunately can't say the same for the bistro downstairs. Food was a bit ordinary. Enjoy the show but perhaps try other venues for good food.

The current play - Hay Fever by Noel Coward is beyond fixing - but the seats should'nt be. They are small, hard and terminally cramp inducing. And anyone fidgetting along the row can be felt as vibrations. Quite an unacceptable level of discomfort, especially annoying in view of the inflated prices of tickets. I'm 183cms in height, not excessively tall,... More

We went and saw The Lion King on Tuesday 4th and it was a great show. The way QPAC is laid out is great, handicap friendly until you go to your seats in Lyric theatre

Last weekend we were at the Performing Arts Centre for The Lion King. The Centre was full of people however there were ushers everywhere giving you directions to access your seats. The seats are comfortable. At interval there are ushers with programs and icecreams, so you do not need to get out of your seat. A lovely clean and well... More
