Moreton Island is 96% National Park. There are three townshops, Bulwer at the n.w. end of the island, Cowan Cowan 5klms south of there and Kooringal which sits at the southern most end of the island. Tangalooma, which is a resort and has dolphin feeding at night, sits about centre. There are no bitcumen roads, only sand tracks. Access to... More

Reminds me of the days of school excursions but better quality. An abundance of activities at a good price. Staff were helpful and friendly. Boat over was clean and steady even in choppy waters. Highly recommended.

Took some Irish friends across on the Micat ferry for the day trip. Snorkeling gear, boogie boards, sunshade, towels and a picnic. Awesome day. One of Brisbane's best kept secrets right on the cities doorstep. World class snorkeling/diving with an amazing amount of fish and adventure. Spent the day in the water as in Jan the water temp is magic. Visibility... More

A catamaran, a jetski, great food and drink, and 6 friends made for a great weekend. The water was smooth and the weather kind to us. A great place to just chill out and take in what we have just on our doorstop.

We had absolutely fun while staying in Moreton Island. Me and my friend booked a day tour and had three activities to choose. The Banana boat ride was so much fun but snorkeling was definitely the best ! If you are lucky you might even see a shark (; The weather wasn't so good but even that didn't bother us.... More

Booked a day tour to beautiful Moreton Island and had the best day off in a long time! We were kinda worried about how just 8h could do the trick but boy, what a ride we had. It didn't even matter that the weather wasn't as good as we hoped for. The staff was nice, laid-back, helpful and clearly excited... More

Fun tour on the quad bikes all over the island. Beautiful views from up the top. Would do it again! Other friends did the helicopter ride and said it was awe some, others did the dolphin feeding experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. P&O cruise to Moreton island was such a lovely way to spend time with friends, highly recommend it.

We just spent a week on the island - not our first time but just as good every time we've been. Staff are awesome and do everything to make your time fun and enjoyable. I did quad biking on the sand tracks and think I'm now addicted. Also parasailed for the first time - magical experience. The island is so... More
