This tour was brilliant! The ride up was entertaining as our guide was both informative about the island and comical. Once we arrived in the 'desert' we were awe-struck at the height of the sand dunes and also the climb up!! After receiving our training, up we went - wow it's hard work. About 15 mins to climb up and... More

We had a terrific day at Moreton Island! Starting with the banana boat ride, which was heaps of fun and got us in the right mood for more activities, we then headed on the snorcheling tour, which was absolutely amazing. The staff was really great and helped us out wherever they could. The snorcheling itself was totally worth it, we... More

An excellent, if not cheap, one day tour that combined the relaxation and beauty of the Island with some adventure. Left at 07:00, arriving at the Island at 10:00, landing direct on the beach. We snorkelled around the wrecks which easily matched snorkling in the Maldives! Some lunch then sand boarding. All good fun and my GPS watch clocked a... More

Moreton Island is 96% National Park. There are three townshops, Bulwer at the n.w. end of the island, Cowan Cowan 5klms south of there and Kooringal which sits at the southern most end of the island. Tangalooma, which is a resort and has dolphin feeding at night, sits about centre. There are no bitcumen roads, only sand tracks. Access to... More

Reminds me of the days of school excursions but better quality. An abundance of activities at a good price. Staff were helpful and friendly. Boat over was clean and steady even in choppy waters. Highly recommended.

One of Brisbane's best kept secrets right on the cities doorstep. World class snorkeling/diving with an amazing amount of fish and adventure. Spent the day in the water as in Jan the water temp is magic. Visibility... More
