I have read many of the reviews accredited to the Mirimar II and it would be very hard to add anything more then what has been said about this fantastic day on the Brisbane River and our visit to the Lone Pine Sanctuary. I am doing this review to help other passengers like ourselves who arrived in Brisbane by Cruise... More

The Mirimar Koala Cruise was the highlight of our trip to Brisbane and I could not recommend it more highly. The staff on the boat were all incredibly friendly. The commentary as we made our way from the CBD to the Koala sanctuary was witty and relevant - it kept you listening because you didn't know what funny quip was... More

The crew were amazing and that started from boarding to when we left the cruise on our return to Brisbane. The added bonus was just turn up and get your ticket on board without having to waste time booking in advance. The cruise to Lone Pine and it is certainly the way to do it, with a nice relaxing cruise... More

We bought a 3-choice Brisbane iVenture flex card from the Visitor Center for $70 AUD and thought it was a great deal by using it for this Lone Pine Mirimar Cruise, the Lone Pine Sanctuary Entrance, and the hop-on/ hop-off bus. For use with our card, you don't make a reservation and just show-up. The boat arrived on time and... More

Great to hear you enjoyed our Tour with Mirimar Cruises and thank you for your lovely comments about our staff. I would like to clarify that if we do leave a little late, we do our best to still arrive at the scheduled time of 11.15am. In regards to the time allocated to spend at the park; we have conducted... This is the way to see the Lone Pine Koala Park ( also highly recommend) . Board cruise on South bank ( new location) and have a taped narrative ( funny and informative) of the river cruise up to the Lone pine Koala sanctuary . Very nice cruise and just about the right amount of time at the sanctuary. Tip... More

I took the Mirimar cruise from Brisbane up to the Lone Pine Koala sanctuary and had such a wonderful time. The river gives beautiful views and there was a fascinating commentary with good old Aussie music along the way. Staff on board were very amiable and the cafe was rather nice. Hot chocolate in a mug on the deck of... More

We had only one day to spend in Brisbane, and I am glad we spent it taking the Mirimar River Cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The tour departs from South Bank Parkland in the heart of the city, which is easy to locate and get to. We took the River Cat ferry right from our hotel. The Mirimar Cruise... More

We took our two grand children on the Mirimar River Cruise to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The Mirimar 2 was a lovely clean vessel with ample places to sit in or outside. Toilets were very clean and there were facilities to purchase food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The crew were very friendly and helpful. There was commentry... More

I had 10-hour layover time in Brisbane International Airport and I decided to visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary because there are only few places you can hold a kola for a picture and Lone Pine is one of them. From information desk on arrival level at the airport, I bought a round trip AirTrain ticke ($30) and a Mirimar Cruise... More

It was a nice way to get to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. They provide refreshments too. The commentary was generally good and clear, although most of it seemed to be related to the 2011 floods, the memories of which seems to be haunting them. The seating on the boat was a little basic. If you wanted a good view... More

We thank you for your feedback. Mirimar Cruises has been cruising successfully to Lone Pine since 1934 however the current boat is only 4 years old, with modern facilities. We are looking at upgrading our seats. The boat arrives at Lone Pine at 11.15am and departs at 1.45pm. This gives you 2.5 hours to explore the park. Recent surveys show,... More
