The whole family had a great time when we took a trip to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. We loved the Mirimar cruise up the river, especially the views including both the nature scenery as well as all of the great houses you get to see. More

This trip along the Brisbane River is interesting and gives some great views of the city and its surrounds. The visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was well worth the visit and the rangers are very well informed and helpful. You must succumb and ahve your photo taken cuddling or being cuddled by a koala! I enjoyed the return trip... More

It's not Sydney a harbour, however this is a great way to kill some time in Brisbane. Lone Pine is fun and just take in the view. More

The cruise takes you to Lone Pine Sanctuary along the Brisbane river. There is an excellent commentary that gives you some interesting facts on Brisbane and it's history. It takes just over an hour. The boat is comfortable with restrooms and a small kiosk selling food. A great way to see the river and get to the koala park. Two... More

We have had the opportunity to cruise on both the old and the new Mirimar cruise, the new one in our last trip to Brisbane. Both times the crew have been very welcoming and helpful. The commentary that follows the history, and updated to include the recent flood information, is very interesting. It's just the right pace to see the... More

The Mirimar Koala Cruise on the Brisbane River shows off the city and bridges to great effect. To include entrance tickets to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary makes this an excellent daytime activity for all people. Rob Treasure, and the other crew of the vessel are most welcoming, and the commentary is very informative. I thoroughly recommend it. More

This cruise was the perfect way to spend our 12-hour layover in Brisbane. It was an easy train ride to the Pontoon. We loved the convenience of the boat ride to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The actual cruise was enjoyable because the weather was great and the guide was so informative, lots of history and fun facts about the area.... More

Just before getting onto the Miramar boat I realised that I had left my friend's camera on the River Cat. I was in a panic and not in the mood to enjoy going to the Koala Sanctuary. One of the crew members radioed the Cat and tracked down the camera which we were able to collect at the end of... More
