I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, starting with a lovely morning tea and with great commentary all the way through. I stopped off to visit the oldest residence in Brisbane, full of antiques and information on local history. Great value for money.

We did the river cruise combo pack which got us the cruise, a ride on the wheel and lunch at Plough Inn for about $60 US. Well worth the money. The cruise was great (especially the cream tea at the beginning - yum!!). The wheel was right behind the dock and was a lot of fun, going around about five... More

I had a morning break from my working week in Brisbane and not knowing the city very well, decided to do this 1.5 hour cruise. It was a glorious day and the trip turned out to be a very relaxing way to spend that break. The boat is comfortable (has a loo - always important!) and the crew very friendly.... More

I went on the cruise from Southbank to Newstead House in a group outing. We took a return trip with a 2 hour stop-off at Newstead House (not included). The cruise lasts about 45 minutes in each direction. For a very reasonable inclusive return fare we were treated to morning coffee or tea and a scone on the outward trip... More

Very enjoyable and informative experience! Tea , Scones & cute hat included. The staff are fantastic and the commentary was interesting. A great way to see Brisbane city from the river. The option to disembark for a couple of hours and sightsee was great. Highly recommend this service! Great value for money.

This is a great way to see Brisbane from the river. The cruise was very reasonably priced and scones and coffee were provided for morning tea. It was so relaxing and we had a bright sunny day to enjoy the informative commentary teaching us some interesting facts about Brisbane. Highly recommended.

We were just in Brisbane for the weekend and after doing the Brisbane Wheel, decided to walk along the river when we came across River City Cruises. At around $30 per person for a 90min cruise, we thought it was worth a risk and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a great way to learn some of the history of... More

This is a great way to learn about Brisbane and some of its history while you sit back and enjoy the views. You can sit anywhere you choose which is great. The kids and I first sat at the front and then halfway through the trip moved into the dining area. Very friendly crew and quite informative commentary. We took... More
