I went on the cruise from Southbank to Newstead House in a group outing. We took a return trip with a 2 hour stop-off at Newstead House (not included). The cruise lasts about 45 minutes in each direction. For a very reasonable inclusive return fare we were treated to morning coffee or tea and a scone on the outward trip... More

Very enjoyable and informative experience! Tea , Scones & cute hat included. The staff are fantastic and the commentary was interesting. A great way to see Brisbane city from the river. The option to disembark for a couple of hours and sightsee was great. Highly recommend this service! Great value for money.

This is a great way to see Brisbane from the river. The cruise was very reasonably priced and scones and coffee were provided for morning tea. It was so relaxing and we had a bright sunny day to enjoy the informative commentary teaching us some interesting facts about Brisbane. Highly recommended.

We were just in Brisbane for the weekend and after doing the Brisbane Wheel, decided to walk along the river when we came across River City Cruises. At around $30 per person for a 90min cruise, we thought it was worth a risk and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a great way to learn some of the history of... More

This is a great way to learn about Brisbane and some of its history while you sit back and enjoy the views. You can sit anywhere you choose which is great. The kids and I first sat at the front and then halfway through the trip moved into the dining area. Very friendly crew and quite informative commentary. We took... More

Took the morning cruise, coffee and scones provided , is an hour and a half cruise down the river from South Bank and you get to see and hear about a side of Brisbane you would other wise miss. We sat on the top deck - and were thankful for our windbreakers - was June after all. Well worthwhile and... More

We took the Brisbane River Cruise and were surprised at how good it was. The information was presented in a light and entertaining manner and was a great way to see the city from the water and learn of its recent (and not so recent) history.

A great way to see and hear about Brisbane and some of its history. We had seats upstairs (in the front). Morning tea is provided and the commentary is invaluable. Would recommend this trip to anyone who visits Brisbane.

If you want to see the sites on the Brisbane River with a good commentary so you understand the significance of what you are seeing, this is a good way to do it. The top deck of the boat gives a good 360 degree view from most seats but is optimal from the front seats. The tour stops at an... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the cruise and we appreciate your kind feedback. The length of the cruise is 1 1/2hours. If we were to travel further upstream, we believe this would make the tour too long. It is mainly industrial heading to the mouth of the river and the waters can be quite rough. Again thank... More

After arriving in Brisbane, it's so nice to overcome the jet lag by taking a river cruise, just a short walk from the city centre. It is very relaxing to sit on the boat, in the shade with a cold beer, and see a bit of the city. The crew is very friendly and the cruise is just long enough
