Brisbane City Council's FREE CityHopper service now links Sydney Street, Dockside, Holman Street, Eagle Street Pier, Thornton Street , Maritime Museum, South Bank 3 and North Quay terminals along the inner city stretch of the Brisbane River. The red ferries are free - not the blue and yellow kitty cats. Not as frequent but if you want to see the... More

We like strolling through cities and new towns to discover a true feel for the area. Unfortunately we had only a whole day by which to do this so chose an urban adventures tour to ensure we saw and learnt all the important facts about Brisbane. we went on the Brisbane explorer tour and thought it was a great tour.... The last time I really looked at Queen Street mall like I did on Shaun's Urban Adventure Walking tour was back in the 70s when there were no sleek shop fronts and HQ Holdens still hooned down the spine of the CBD. It's historic, its beautiful and it is certainly refreshing to see it again in all it's glory. Likewise,... More

After experiencing the West End Lights walking tour through Brisbane's CBD and West End, I have to admit as a Brissie local I have never taken the time to take in the atmosphere and gorgeous buildings. Shaun our host, a lovely down to earth local, took us on board the Kookaburra Queen for a scrumptious cheese plater and breathtaking views... More

Our tour guide was excellent with a great knowledge of Brisbane. I would recommend this for first time travellers to Brisbane or for anyone that just wanted to see what Brisbane has to offer. A great way to see Brisbane!

I have taken two of the Urban Adventures Brisbane City tours, one on foot one by bike and both were lovely days out. It was great to be taken around by a guide, Shaun, who really knew the city and hundreds of facts about it's history and character. We got to see hand picked highlights from the city including many... More

I've now done two Urban Adventures - Brisbane Heritage and the Multicultural Food Experience. I had a great time on both and really learnt things about Brisbane - even after living here for 13 years. It's amazing how beautiful our city is - and these tours really highlight the diversity of Brisbane. Great for everyone - if you have some... More

Imagine pausing under a Bunya Pine tree in Brisbane’s Southbank Parklands…when without warning…crack! Would you know what to do? This tour impressed with facts: about Brisbane’s architectural history (the first bridge over the Brisbane River only stood for two years before it perished); old colonial days (Sydney’s very worst convicts were transferred to Brisbane); and indigenous knowledge (go straight to...
