You do not need to travel into the country to see Australian Native Animals. Only a 20 minute drive from the centre of Brisbane, you will find this place and experience many of the local Animals and other attractions. Great for the family and just for a day visit.

lovely zoo - really enjoyed our day there and pleased to see that the staff are interested in conservation and care of the animals. the area around the zoo is also quite nice and it was a good stopover on our way to Bundaberg. really recommend this as a resting place on the travels of Australia. go there again? Best little Zoo on the way to the Sunshine Coast & a good way to get really close to the action. Good value for money & you will enjoy your day here.

Alma Park Zoo is a small but lovely zoo which is suitable for smaller children. Lots of local animals such as koalas, kangaroos, peacocks, marsupials and even a tasmanian devil. Great place to take the kids on a day trip close to Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. Price was reasonable.

I've lived in Australia for many years and never seen a quoll until I came to this zoo. Or a sun bear for that matter and I have travelled around Asia. And there was an animal (the name escapes me - you will have to go and find out for yourself) that I never even knew existed until going to... More

My friend surprised me with a day at Alma Park Zoo for my birthday and it was a fantastic gift! We arrived soon after opening and after purchasing food for the animals we had plenty of places to park. We wandered around and visited all the animals and reptiles and were able to hand-feed lots of animals. The kangaroos are... More

We took our niece and nephew here for the last day of school holidays, a first time trip for all 4 of us. Overall, unfortunately I have to say it was disappointing. The admission fee is incredibly high considering what they have to offer. The exhibits include a handful of native animals (kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, koalas etc), a farmyard area... More

I surprised my friend for her birthday with a day out at this fantastic zoo. The two of us arrived just after opening time and were greeted by a friendly young lady at the front gate who took our admittance fee and gave us an area map as well as being able to purchase some food pellets for around the... Went with family and took mix of 8-10 year olds, 3 year olds and 2 babies. Park areas for picnics and frequent rest stops were great. Good mix of animals - there are no exotic big stars like lions, tigers and elephants here - but cute primates, wallabies/roos and koalas of course. You can buy food to feed certain animals.... More
