Visited here midweek during school time. Didnt realise it was in an actual police station. Museum was very peaceful with nice calm lighting. No a massive museum which we preferred as we could take it all in better that way. Informative sections with comical staged homicide on display. It was also FREE. Good way to spend a spare hour.

Quite to our surprise we were one of nearly 100 people who turned up to a free public lecture (1.5 hours) on the last Sunday of the month. The lecture was most informative given by a very knowledgeable person who had conducted a great deal of research into a terrible crime in Brisbane (1957). The lecture captivated the entire audience.... More

Very handy to Brisbane Transit Centre (bus & train station) this is really worth a visit. Well laid out and very informative. Highly recommended museum to visit and see how the Queensland Police force has evolved over the years. A lot of time has been spent setting it up....and it is free to visit (Monday to Friday).

One of the bonuses offered by the Police Museum is the monthly lecture. They have excellent topics that are always interesting and well-presented.

This museum is based in the police headquarters opposite Roma Street station. It is free to get in and we spent approximately an hour looking around. It covers a variety of subjects including specialist units, notable officers and unsolved murders. Great way to spend an hour on a rainy winters afternoon.

Out of all the Brisbane museums we went to, this was by far our favourite. Although small, it's packed with interesting displays, objects and had laid out a courtroom and a crime scene for you to try and solve a murder. Unfortunately it took us a while to find it so we only got there at 4pm on a Friday... More

Basic, missed having any interaction with a guide. We were hoping to be able to learn more about QLD Police with this visit.
