Eagle Street Pier is to get the boats and paddle steamers from, there are many cafes there and there was a small market there aswell on certain days leading to the city.

Walked all the way from Ibis Hotel. The market there was good and enjoyed very much. We had lunch there and quite nice. Love the view sat by the river!

The Eagle Street Pier are is brisbane at its best. Great places to eat, the majority of which have extended river views. The choice of eateries ranges from fine dining to casual - something for all, from couple to families. the views from the Pier are outstanding and provide a wonderful ambiance.

This is a great area to walk with a boardwalk going from the Botanic Gardens to the south to almost Story Bridge (there was construction just before the bridge so currently there is a detour to the street). Eagle Street is also packed with eating areas and it is also where you can catch the CityHopper (free ferry)!

A great place to visit at night. There are lots of restaurants and bars. There are terrific views of the Story Bridge at night which is beautiful when it is lit up.

I walk on the pier after work so I get to see it during sunset. It's beautiful with the view of story bridge on one side and a group of boats on the other. Many people take runs here, but I just like to take a relaxing walk after work. Would recommend if you are walking around the city alone... More

We took the city ferry over to eagle street pier. Many restaurants and a short walk to the botanical gardens. The walk along the boardwalk is nice and a nice view of the bridge and river. The city ferry is free and a great way to see rather sights from the river. The restaurants have varied prices but more on... More

It has a few good and expensive restaurants and a few tacky cheap ones a well and the river activity is quite interesting but somehow this place lacks something. Worth a visit if you are looking for a variety of restaurants
