We found Eagle Street Pier as we strolled along the Brisbane River in the evening. It is chock full of high end to more budget restaurants offering wonderful views over the Brisbane River. A must visit if you're staying in that part of town.

Want a good choice of restaurants and bars, this would have to be where to go. Buzzy, organised, no out of control behaviour. very good up market restaurants and bars here - from some of the very best chefs.

we had breakfast overlooking the river then jumped on the ferry and went up the river then got off at south brisbane. There are a lot of nice restaurants here and also some more casual dining option. This would be a great place to have friday argo drinks after work or a romantic dinner on a Saturday night

We walked down from the Queen St Mall to the pier, had a walk along the river bank then stopped off for a scenic coffee. There are lots of restaurants to choose from here, some more expensive than others.

My daughter and I strolled along here after work and thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous view of the bridge , the bobbing boats and the hustle and bustle of the fitness conscious folks working out . There was a huge selection of restaurants as well to tempt us.

This place has come so far with some great restaurants and is close to its hey day during the early 90's. My favourite restaurant is Pony Dining but really want to try the others. It is best by night and from your restaurant table. The Story Bridge as a back drop makes it even better.

Well worth a visit. We were in Brisbane for The Ashes, so during the evenings Eagle Street was bustling with cricket supporters, all in good humour enjoying the banter. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants and beautiful views over the Brisbane River, particularly once the sun goes down.
