I loved the variety of restaurants. It is a great way to spend and afternoon or evening with friends.

Large range of quality restaurants at reasonable prices. Very popular so get there early or book table. Views over the water looking at the bridge , ferries and work boats, rowing boats. Brilliant to while away a couple of hours, particularly as day turns to night and the city lights play on the river.

Brissie has some wonderful restaurant districts - and they are better than Eagle Street which is madly busy, expensive, crowded and loud. Head to Fortitude Valley, New Farm, The Westend or South Bank for a better real experience for a few less $$$'s

Walked down to the Sunday markets. They were very much the same as the Saturday ones at Fortitude valley except the ones a the the valley seemed a bit bigger with a bit more variety.

well this is the right place for your afternoon drinks and dinner. it faces east, so you don't get the blinding sun or heat in the afternoon, and there is a fairly good selection of food and bars along the pier area. plenty of places with meals between $11-$40

There were small markets there Sunday. Great restaurants. Great walking paths linking all of the city. Great views, transport.

Sunday markets here were a big disappointment! Whole area seemed a little grimy and uncared for. Did get a great cup of coffee at a cafe though.

Casual or high end dining, coffee, breakfast or a cold drink on your way along the boardwalk. Jump on the free ferry and end up in Southbank.

Just love the views, restaurants, vibe about the place and of course the river. It teams with life and the views are both different in the day and the nigth. Plent to do there.
