I recently visited Eagle Street Pier with beautiful views of the Brisbane River and was impressed. It offers travellers a place to unwind with the water feature, cafes, restaurants in abundance and an open feeling of space. The boardwalk area also offers visitors a great view of the river across to the Story Bridge. Well worth a look!

Eagle St Pier itself is a busy little precinct down by the Storey Bridge end of the river with a selection of both cheap (Guzman & Gomez) eats, fine dining (Aria, Cha Cha Cha, Il Centro) and lively bars and other good dining spots (Pony). If you take the steps down to the river on the Eagle St Pier, you'll... More

Each time we visit Brisbane - adult children recommend dining at Eagle St Pier. Always a good experience. Many good restaurants - can fine dine or go more casual. Irrespective of choice quality is there. Views over the river and great friendly atmosphere.

Eagle street Peir is a great location for dinner or drinks. So many options to choose from. I have dined at at least a dozen places and rate them all very highly.

Such a beautiful place to wander along the promenade and get lunch or a coffee at the many restaurants on the river in the heart of Brisbane. Great views of the Storey bridge and Kangaroo Pt cliffs, also take a city cat ride...enjoy the weekend markets...always a treat.

I went here for my birthday for a treat, and I was pleasantly surprised. We had a great table out on the deck over looking the Story bridge! The food was melt in your mouth and the service was second to none. The only downfall was it was very close to another bar and the very loud music was horrible,... More

Right on the river so there's great views of the bridge and boats and across from Kangaroo Point cliffs. Parking is expensive underneath the Pier, but you can sometimes get meter parking that's not too bad, but you have to top up. You can eat cheap or expensive.

Eagle Street Pier is to get the boats and paddle steamers from, there are many cafes there and there was a small market there aswell on certain days leading to the city.
