Had a fantastic trip in perfect weather (check website for best conditions). Tons of whales spotted & great photos. Website doesn't advertise that they're disabled friendly but as a part-time wheelchair user & full time walking aid user the crew couldn't have done another thing for me. They ensured I was comfortable & helped around, safely, at all times. I... More

Booked the day before the cruise and had no problems with the booking process. On the day, great weather and calm seas. We were told on the cruise that the pa system was not working but all staff would come through with any information, which they did. Saw whales not long into the cruise and followed them for about an... More

I specially arranged a day up SUnshine COast just because of Steve's Whale One. But right before my trip, I learnt that Steve's Whale One was sold, it was no longer owned by Steve's family (Terri Irwin). So to my disappointment, there was no more "Steve's" on the boat, it is now called "Whale One". Nevertheless, that's a small issue.... More

My daughter and I went whale watching with Whale One on the 4th of July 2011. I can't give high enough praise for the crew of Whale One. They were all helpful and courteous and made the day even more enjoyable. We went in the hope of seeing whales and that is certainly what we saw - two pods of... More

Steve's Whale One is a great whale watching experience. The crew were fantastic and the size of the boat and passenger allowance was great so you never felt like you were squashed in like on some boat tours. There are a few different areas on the boat so it is very relaxing as you venture out into the ocean and... More

We went on this trip and no sooner as we left the harbour we could see humpback whales breaching. The boat has to watch whales from three miles out from the coast, before we reached three miles we already had one pod in sight and as soon as we were outside the limit we spent the next three hours following... I took the Whale One, part of the Australia Zoo group, catamaran out of Mooloolaba recently. A friendly group of folk were on board and we set sail in anticipation of seeing lots of humpbacks. As the sea became rougher and rougher, amusing at first, those people who had not read the fine print, and not taken seasickness tablets were... More
