Use the ferry a lot to travel to and from uni. Staff are friendly, views from the boat are beautiful and only have to wait a maximum of five minutes until the boat comes. Great service!

It was a lovely Saturday morning and we decided to go wharf hopping...we ordered a taxi and asked to take us to Riverside ferry...he took us 3 miles in the wrong direction and then said he had no idea how to get there...this is another story, but it starts out our free day in a negative way...after turning on our... Upon arriving in Brisbane 3 months ago.. I quickly found that the CityCat was a great way to get around town. I can hop on at Brett's Wharf in Hamilton and be down at South Bank in about 30 mins. I know that the buses are faster but the CItyCat's are usually less crowded and offer a more relaxed mode... More

I just come back from work (9 hours cleaning job without lunch and dinner) I felt so tired and hungry at that time. I then get a sweet (not a snack) from my bag and put it in my mouth. Suddenly the staff, make a sign using his hand me "u want get off from the city cat?'. I actually... More

I have been a regular patron of the free City Hopper ferry service in Brisbane for some time. It is a great idea - free, tourist-attracting - unfortunately it can be ruined at times by some of the patrons. I regularly find that it is being used by unsavoury characters (homeless, drunk) and as a female passenger, I am hesitant... More

I recently took the CityCat from Hamilton to Southbank and back. Beautiful sunny day, the ride was just magic. I'd forgotten how wonderful it is to skim along the Brisbane River looking at all the wonderful sights on the way. Fabulous!

CityCat- what an apt name of the Catamaran that cruises through the city. Also, like a cat moves in a zig zag fashion from one stoppage to the other and like a cat, does it quietly !😊 It was a good time spent. Leisure river cruise in a ferry, passing through the city. As you go further away, you see... More

CityCAT is a public transportation for locals and also it's also a ferry for river sightseeing for visitors. It is about 5 AU$. Floating on the river with some speed is such fun and also the sights besides are exciting. Big wheel, Casino, skyscrapers... You may find bicycle parking space around the CityCAT station. I found it at the station... More

As Seniors, we were entitled to half price fares on the CityCat Ferry, and what a bargain!!!!...we got on the Ferry at North Quay, paid our $3.10 each and had a lovely trip backwards and forwards across the river, heading downstream to Bretts Wharf, where we decided to stop for lunch in one of the many eateries. By the time... More

The city cat is an excellent way to see Brisbane and I take visitors on this trip to show them Brisbane. There are many stops on the route and depending where you leave from both Southbank (great area, plenty of eateries) and Brisbane CBD are good stops. The city cats give you the option of being "on deck" out in... More
