Best way to move around this city

This is a fantastic way to move about the city and surrounds. The road network in Brisbane is pathetic so the relaxing travel on these vessels is both comforting and efficient

It's a great way to see the city and to get to South Bank from Hamilton. It's also a really excellent way to show the city off to out of town guests. Great to go up the river during daylight then come back at night. The city is beautiful all lit up and The Story Bridge looks fantastic at night.... More

The CityCat ferry service is very good if you want to see Brisbane. You can buy a Hoff on Hoff off ticket to see many places. We enjoyed a round trip to a suburbs in the evening. I think it was free (I actually don't remember).

This is fantastic expierience to do if visiting brisbane. You can catch the City Cat at the city than go down the river and back up on another City cat. Really is nice just standing at the front with the wind hitting you. You can buy a ticket on the Cat or if you have a translink card use that... More

The CityCat (or the Cityhopper, which is a free option to some stops) is the way to take public transit when you need to. We enjoyed a ride to one of the far suburbs (Hamilton) to catch a Cirque de Soleil show, Totem, and it was more economical and more relaxing than any taxi or bus ride we've taken.

Enjoy the Brisbane River on the citycat. A very nice calm comfortable way to travel in Brisbane. Makes getting to the CBD and Southbank really easy and saves you bringing the car to town on your nights out.

This is a great way to see what the river line has to offer. From Hamilton Eat St Markets, to South Bank restaurants. This is something you should do when you're in Brisbane.

I'm one of the lucky ones who live in New Farm close to the Sydney St Ferry stop and use the city cats all the time. Takes only 9 minutes into the city. They are an amazing form of transport ... comfortable, great views along the river,no traffic jams,on time and Now new and upgraded black and orange stops popping... More

Living in the inner city suburb of Teneriffe, we have a stop about 10 minutes walk thru the beautiful streets around our suburb. We frequently use them for the many commute's into the city. When we have visitors we do the full route on twilight. No better way to show off our amazing River city
