Regular services that jetty-hop from St Lucia all the way through to Hamilton. A truly beautiful way to get around the city and you get to see aspects of Brisbane that are only accessible from the river. Very easy access, even for people with mobility challenges.

The CityCats offer a great way to enjoy the fantastic river city. They are cheap, quick and efficient while offering some of the best views to be had. For visitors to Brisbane they are a "must do".

The CityCat ferries are a public transport facility with many stops along the river including Southbank and the CBD. A great way for visitors to see the city and suburbs from the river or just to fill in a couple of hours. You can get off at any of the many stops and catch the next return ferry if you... More

Had a lovely trip down the river. A great way to see some of the remaining Queensland architecture. Very pleasant afternoon combined with the South Bank.

Best things since sliced bread. Great price with the use of the Go card. Terminals are clean and have plenty of information to make the experience stress free. Get up front and hang on to the rail, you will know what I mean when you are in this place.

We were staying at Kangaroo Point, across the river from the city and travelled by ferry in both directions, once to visit friends for lunch and to visit the city for an appointment. The City Hoppers are free and do a circuit from Kangaroo Point to the city. It's slow, because you criss-cross the river all the way, but a... More

This is an excellent and cheap way to see the river and explore Brisbane. You can use it like a touring bus, but at a fraction of the price. The ferries are fast and frequent. I thoroughly recommend a trip and is a great way to explore the city and river. I can imagine that on a hot summer's day... More

Our CityCat ferries are a great way to show off the city to visitors as well as a wonderful way to get around and enjoy the river and the city. There's a new terminal about to open at the southern end of the University of Queensland and this will extend the reach of the ferries even further. I've been on... More

If I had a choice, I would always take a ferry into the city, such a shame it's not walking distance from the airport.
