I first drove up to mount cootha in the day. it was perfect for photos, along with having a great view of the city, it also has nice little pathways where you can go on a hike. Then theres also a souvenir shop and a café. which isn't too expensive. I then visited at night, it was even busier! and... More

I may be a little biased towards the beauty of Mt Coot-tha Lookout given that my beautiful partner asked me to be his girlfriend after visiting for the first time (even though I have lived in Brisbane all of my life). But it is certainly somehting that should be on he to do list for everyone visiting Brisbane. Night time... More

On a warm evening, a lovely place for a drink or to eat, for the kids to enjoy and to relax and take in the beautiful vista.

We ended our day with a drive up to this marvellous viewpoint. You could see the sun go down and it was a great spot for photographs. The café offered very delicious ice cream too!

Not a lot to do at the actual lookout itself, but definitely a good way to see the whole city. Some decent walks around the place, but you're better off heading down to the Botanic Gardens at the bottom of the hill to extend your visit. The cafe is better at the gardens than at the lookout as well.

On Easter weekend, parking was a bit of a challenge but not impossible. The lookout provides awesome views for photographers of the city, the Brisbane river and the mountains further away. The coffee shop was quite good - the cold noodle salad with beef was very tasty and the prices, while not cheap, were not exorbitant either. The gift shop... More

Such a picturesque view of the brisbane river and thereabouts. There was a lovely cafe too and well maintained toilets. The scenery was great.

This place provides great views of Brisbane and beyond. Great photo opportunities. Choose a clear-sky day to go there. I did not go at night but it must be impressive too.

We went on a clear sunny day and the view of brisbane city and the surrounding areas were fantastic. One of the must do experience in Brisbane. There were quite a number of people visiting at the time so it was quite busy.
