Just dropped by Mount Coot-tha lookout this evening. Got to say, one of the nicer lookout points in my Queensland trip thus far. Beautiful panoramic view of Brisbane city. Gets exponentially more beautiful as as the skyline became dimmer and the city starts to light up. However, do bring along a camera stand if you want to get a good... More

There is not a lot of parking but the view of Brisbane is just brilliant on a lovely sunny day. I ate at the Kuta Cafe and enjoyed my meal which was average price. Nice coffee and dessert too.

The views across Brisbane are worth the trek. Drinks are available from the top. Not not much parking but plenty of bus tours include this attraction so should be easy enough to get to the top.

Loved sitting having lunch overlooking Brisbane. Having grown up there it was great to just sit and find different locations that bought back memories. A must do.

I used to be a regular visitor to this lookout when I lived in Brisbane, and still visit when I can. This is the highest point of the city and it is always good to take friends up to see how the city has changed. There's parking close by, and the viewing area of the lookout is enormous - even... The view was really fantastic. I took the 471 bus from Adelaide street in CBD. I ate lunch at the lookout (with stingy portions and very slow service) and then hit the hiking trails. The trails are well designed and easy. After looping around I ended up down at the Botanical Gardens at the foot of the mountain. I wish... More

This is an excellent way to see brisbane and its surrounds, especially nice in the evening on a warm summer's night the cafe is good to sit at and watch the sun go down across brisbane.

We went with a local who was able to point out less obvious places which made it more interesting. It is easy to get to by bus.

Brisbane view - at its best. You go early morning, afternoon or late evening/night, all the views from the top amazes you. Early morning breakfast is a must have. Sometimes during night, you might be lucky to have a look at Moon, Saturn and Mercury using high-end telescopes.
