What a great way to end a day, i watched the sunset on the beach and wandered around the beach market. I picked up some beautiful aboriginal artwork from the artist. The food is excellent, just choose what you want find a seat and tuck in.The market is only on a couple of times a week.

Talk a long walk along the beach and you will meet the friendliest of the Aussie people along the way. I found the walk so soothing and relaxing after a hard day's work. As its within the Skycity Darwin i am wondered around without being concerned about my safety.

Next the SkyCity the Casino. the place to see the famous Mindil Beach Markets in the dry season. Mindil Beach is used for all kinds of activities, and it is great to view our magnificient sunsets in the dry season from here in the evening. You have to go to the markets during the season. You must try the food, take a big bag, for the take away containers you won't need to cook for a week at least.

I love staying here but sadly it is a bit pricey, both for me and my organization. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and bright and built around two lovely courtyards with a fountain in each and plenty of greenery. One of the pluses is the gym with machines forcexerci g. A sauna and a... More

The Mindil markets never disappoint, if you can't find something to eat at Mindil then give up trying. What an experience.

This beach is famous for its sunsets and delivers some of the best in Australia. The markets period (Thursday's and Sunday's in the Dry Season) haul in a number of visitors and may potentially ruin photography but deliver a buzz that is enjoyable. Note: swimming here is dangerous but you do sometimes spot the odd soul braving it

I love this beach! I spend a few days a week exercising or taking the dog for a run. Great walking path and a nice size park for running around.
