It's a must in the Darwin dry season. The mindil markets are on Thursday and Sunday's (nights). Great place to take in the sunset and experience one of the many stalls for food. Chill on the beach with music after. Great setting!

Spent a day at the MArkets, it also happened to be the Beer Can Regatta so it was great fun, bought some quirky crocodile souvenirs. Good food.

Not only are these markets full of interesting things to look at and buy and great street type entertainment the sunset was truely amazing. The atmosphere was awesome with hundreds of people sitting on the beach together watching the sun go down. A must do if your in Darwin while this market runs

A beautiful sunset is offered across the bay and the walk is great at the end of the day. Accessible from the car park or from the back gate of Sky City resort. We did see some locals swimming, but remember this is crocodile territory...

A few souvenirs, tour companies and clothes for sale. It is mostly a foodies market with everything imaginable cooked, chilled or frozen. You can try a fruit sundae to a crocodile burger, roast meats to roast macadamia nuts. Get in early and find a good location for the magnificent palate of colours to be unveiled by the setting sun. Sunset... More

During the wet in Darwin the markets are not on but the views at sunset are still spectacular. The sky changes colour many times in about 10 to 15 minutes and goes from bright orange to lovely shades of pink and the clouds become whispy. This should not be missed either in the wet or the dry and especially when... More

Mindil beach is located near the casino at Darwin. There is a bus stop that takes you there on the number 4 or 6, and then you can walk towards the beach. This place is awesome in Dry season. There is also a walk way that walks towards the museum. It's a nice walk on a cooler day, but perhaps... More
