there is a good variety of food stalls and activity stalls but i feel that there could be more to see. the oysters stall is really worth a try - their 'sunset dream' oyster baked with cream cheese and salmon - YUMMY! I also love the BBQ Pork ball - it's chunky roasted pork on a skewer, from a Vietnamese... More

Was pretty crowded, and full of the usual market stuff - not what we were looking for. However, we did want to grab some great asian takeaway and sit on the beach watching the sun go down - and that was definitely worth it. Plenty of food choices, and the sun didn't disappoint.

Cool spot to watch the sunset. If the markets are on then there's an extra buzz around. I think that's twice a week. Anyway, happy place!

The market was a standard night market, with a bit of Darwin culture thrown in for the tourists. Probably if you want to buy some indigenous art then there was some local artists selling their canvases. The highlight was the fruit juices which were very tasty. mango & pineapple yummy... Markets are a great experience each time, you will end up going often just to try all the different food and see the attractions.

Just another BIG Thursday night outdoor market with lots of food stalls & trinkety junky stuff. Was crowded next to no parking or taxi ride & walk. Bus if you know the right one. Frankly I just don't see what folk get out of this kind of stuff.

Just go. Make sure you are hungry upon arrival. Be there about 5.30 - gives you time to wander through the market and buy something yummy to eat before you go to sit on the dunes (with hundreds of others) to watch the sunset. Quite an experience.

Not the first time we have hit the market for some light entertainment and dinner. The mix of people are great to watch and there is so much food to choose from its amazing. So dinner and fresh air plus a little shopping for some of the local craft. The tyre recycler is great along with the canvas guy too.... More
