There was so many food options available - to meet any tastebud Reasonably priced, fast service and great atmosphere, welcomes families, travellers and locals, a hub of socialising. I had the best Pad Thai, ever, still craving for some more. We went in August 2014, weather was friendly, for Darwin- I dont like hot weather! Would love to go back... More

A cool and groovey place to go for coffee sunshine and people watching. Worth a visit to eat, swim or just stroll around.

Lots of lovely shops but not a lot that was affordable for me anyway, though I understand why as it was a lovely area and the views were superb.

Kind of boring, lots of potential but currently being over-developed. The survivors lookout has it's historic view obscured by a new residential building on the waterfront.

This reminds me of The Darling harbour of Darwin. Great atmosphere, lots of dining choices, close to the city.

We had visited a few years ago and there was quite a lot of activity and there were shops and restaurants open. This time there were only some very basic eating places and the area looked quite run down. Not sure whether or not more places may be open at night.

Location and although the seafood restaurant got the order wrong they were apologetic and went out of their way to make amends.

The wharf is a great place for dinner and a few drinks at sunset, or check out the wave pool and lagoon for a relaxing few hours sunbaking. Fantastic restaurants and bars for eating and drinking and all a short walk from the city centre.

We loved this wharf. Had fish n chips there and read the history of the Darwin bombing. Nice walk and great views. Watch the ships come in and go out to sea.

It is a great spot with lovely sea breezes. You need to get there early about 5pm to get a good seat by the waters edge from where you can feed the fish and watch the very big moon fish and many other varieties come up for their supper. Excellent night out especially seeing the laughter and fun on the... More
