Good and easy way to cover Darwin city.

If time are limited, it's a easy way to travel around and hop and off when you wanted. Went on it twice and the information given was good.

Firstly, the fact that you have to front with a printed voucher is painful for a visitor to Darwin. Luckily, Chillis Backpackers did it for us and we were only delayed an hour... It is a little pricey for what you get, tour around CBD only, which you could do by foot and taxi. But the drivers are nice .... More

Thanks AussieBoo for using our service, understandably, it is abit frustrating to have to front up with a voucher when purchasing tickets online, however, it clearly states this on the website and we don't get paid if there is no voucher presented, there is also the option of just purchasing a ticket of the driver when boarding the bus. I... More

It takes 1 1/2 hours for the one-way only route and costs $35 for 24 hours. There are 10 stops, 5 of which are walking distance from the city centre, one is the markets for Saturday mornings only, another is the fish feeding which is only at high-tide, and one is the Darwin Military Experience which goes out in the... This bus tour is a great way to get a feel for Darwin and its history. We went on the 90 minute round trip. You get a good run down on local history, and it is very interesting.

The Darwin Explorer is a hop-on/hop-off bus service which cruises around Darwin City. There are a limited number of stops and it only operates for a limited period of time during the day. Pros - has an enclosed downstairs section and an open upstairs section - has taped commentary informing you about the stops and sights between stops - arrives... More

I decided to take a trip on this service to see the sights and decide what to do etc. The driver was friendly and cheerful. The commentary on the bus was first class and very informative, I learnt heaps about the area. Value for money well and truely. Keep up the awesome work!!!

Taking the Explorer bus is a great way to see the sights of Darwin. You can get off at any stop and explore a little more of that particular area. We enjoyed the commentary and being able to sit on the deck and experience the sights from a higher level. The ticket lasts for 24 or 48 hours and is... More

We caught this on our first day in Darwin, and it gave us a really good snapshot of Darwin. The Art and also the Military Museums are top class, as are the Tunnels near the Waterfront. Being able to hop on and off, is great, make sure you are careful with your time because the extra loop at the end... More
