Great place for kids! free! run by a team of kids working for the YMCA who really have no people skills but it makes no difference, the kids run and play and get wet, that is all that matters!

What a place to go to with the family or to meet friends for a BBQ. Electric BBQ's are available with good sheltered areas and plenty of grassed area to play on. With water cannons, slippery dips and the giant bucket tipping water out regularly, there is a lot of fun to be had by the kids. Further to this... More

How many waterparks can you get in for free? Not many, but Leanyer Water Park is free and provides toilets, kiosk, BBQs, life guards, kids play ground, kids water play ground, three slides of varying speeds. Personally I don't like the red slide as it is very dark and you can't see where you are going, but my son loves... More

Good for kids and thats about it. Thought it might be a good place to cool off but the water was too hot to make a difference. Slides are the best thing there really. Good for families to entertain kids etc

Run by the YMCA, this water park is open to the public and is free. There are three water slides (one a double-tuber), a water playground and a large, shallow lagoon pool. Great for a hot day! The shop does a roaring trade in hot chips and ice creams. Picnic tables are provided so you can bring your own food.

We've been twice during our stay and our 6 year old son loves it here. Plenty to do - 3 huge slides which are well regulated by the life guards, big splash area with smaller slides and equipment and large pool. Really great facility with kiosk and toilets, heaps of picnic spots and BBQs. There is also a dry under... More
