It is part of the Mary River wetlands and is a wildlife experience not to be missed. Corroboree Billabong is Darwin's closest wetland cruise option and you can either drive yourself to the cruise(75 - 90 minutes) or take a half day tour from Darwin. « less

Did the Wetlands lunch cruise a couple of days ago. Drove to Corroboree Tavern and got picked up by the tour bus from there. The guide was informative and the cold meat and salad lunch was very good. Very good cruise deep into the wetlands. Saw some huge crocs.

Drove to the Mary River to pick up the cruise. Partly dirt road but very easy to drive on. Chose the midday cruise of 2.5 hours with lunch included. Excellent , huge, salad with bread. Saw many crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks. Lots of bird life, brolgas, Jabarus and more. Amy was very informative with a good sense of... More

Hi Yvonne, thanks for your wonderful review. The 2.5 hour lunch cruise is very popular as it gives you a nice amount of time on the wetlands and is not too rushed. Having lunch on the wetlands is also a nice experience. Our cruise is a very similar wildlife experience to Yellow Waters, without needing to drive an extra 400km... More

We joined the Wetlands Tour from our Darwin Hotel, picked up other travellers from various locations and enjoyed the drive to Corroboree Billabong, being entertained and informed along the way by Tanya, our Driver/Guide for the day. At the Billabong, another Guide (Amy) came with us on the boat and between Amy and Tanya we were given a great insight... More
