I would go out on a limb and say that this is one of the best single-day tours I have done in my life. Thommo, our indigenous guide, took us on a climb up a rocky hill that is absolutely loaded with ancient rock art and some very special sacred sites. This place is to Ubirr Rock like the Tate... Its a long way from Darwin but I'm glad I went. It's not often you get to experience a tour like this, the magic is in the guide(*thanks Roland) and the privilege of getting to see authentic Aboriginal artwork Its not every day you get to experience great views, nice lunch, good company and a part of Australia that's outside... My friend and I knew this would be great but had no idea just how great. Our guides were so kind and informative. It was a very intimate and personal journey that we are so grateful for. Highly recommended - this is a once in a lifetime experience.

This was an excellent tour. You get to go up close to real rock art, learn some aboriginal stories, and fisit an art center to see the amazing artwork of the the aboriginals.

A recent visit to Kakadu enabled a day excursion to Arnhemland. Its pretty difficult to get into Arnhemland, of course, with permits being very limited and restrictive. To go into that territory with a group that works with the locals was key for me. And it did not disappoint. The highlight for me was the guided walk around Injalak Hill... More

The trip could have taken half the time if the guide hadn't kept stopping for a cigarette. He was very repetitive and the pace was incredibly slow. As it was very hot for standing about I am sure most people would have been happier to keep moving. It was net resting but too long drawn out. Would not do it... More

My parents and I were extremely fortunate to be able to tour Arnhemland. Lords Safaris Tour one of the few, legal, and longest running tour services you can have the opportunity to travel with to explore the Arnhemland history and culture. Our aboriginal guide (Eric) was one of the best guides. He was open to questions about his people's culture... More

We had 4 days in Kakadu and Arnhemland with Lord's. An amazing, indescribable, unforgettable experience. We climbed up waterfalls and swam in rock pools, saw ancient rock paintings, slept under huge and peaceful skies, cruised down amazing rivers - it was wonderful. If you're considering this trip - do it. Do it now.

Wonderful day trip to Injaluk Arts Centre and Injaluk Hill rock art site. Our guide, Lachy, was knowledgeable, energetic and cheerful. The food and little touches added the final zing to this trip to see ancient Aboriginal rock art of West Arnhem Land. Fantastic!

Very good tour of the Injalak Arts Center and Injalak Hill. The tour was well organized. Both guides, the one from Lords and the aboriginal guide at Injalak Hill, were very good. The rock art was fantastic and it was interesting to learn how people lived there. The arts center was excellent, providing the opportunity to see artisans at work... More
