We did a Sunset Camel Tour, & I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting great photos of the desert & Uluru or Kata Tjuta at dusk. Amazing landscape & a really fun, interactive & interesting adventure through the surrounds of these amazing natural wonders. The staff are extremely good at what they do & the camels are brilliant each with... More

This was quite a unique experience. It is safe as the camels walk slowly and are tied together so they can't take off (not that they tend to be fast animals anyway). One guide will ride the lead camel and another guide will walk along with the group; this gives you a sense of the speed at which you travel.... More

We did the sunrise tour and absolutely loved it. All of the team were extremely knowledgeable and the camels were amazing - not smelly, no spitting. We had a camel called Connor and Myrtle was behind us. They were calm and easy to ride. The sunrise trip was fabulous. It was so wonderful to be out riding as the sun... More

We booked the 1.5 hour tour at Ayers Rock resort village. We had cars so drove there ourselves (5 minutes). The price is $80 (same for kids). Once you arrive you wait for the minibus to arrive from the accommodations and everyone gets a safety talk. It says the actual ride time is 45 minutes but I think that includes... More

I booked the camel tour expecting a short ride around the farm, but what a ride. Firstly, the owner, mark, explained everything very clearly, he is also quite the comedian. Then my son and I embarked on our excellent adventure. The ride was about 1.5 hrs and highly enjoyable. We learnt a lot about the history of camels in this... More

The venue was a short drive less than 10 minutes. We were give shoulder pouches as bags were not allowed on the camel ride. You could have two adults... More

We chose the 45min ride because of the ages of our children, 2x 9 year olds and a 6 year old. We all enjoyed the experience and thought it was very professionally run. We have some wonderful photos, you are under no obligation to purchase the professional photos and they take some photos of you with your own camera. One... More

We arrived at the Outback Pioneer Hotel, with only the Sounds of Silence meal booked. There was a list of activities available and saw camel ride... so why not it sounded fun!. There was also a vintage car with leaflets attached giving more information. The receptionist rang the venue direct and booked us in for the following day for the... More
