Had a lunch tour to West Macdonell Range with Bob. At the beginning while searching online, hesitate to join because of the price. But after the trip I think it worth. He conducts only small group tour, which members can have a chat with him to learn the aboriginal cultures. He spent time and prepared lots of dishes the day... More

It was a really nice bush tucker tour. Bob is a great chef and I enjoyed a meal that Bob had cooked for us on open fire. Every dishes were used ingredients that Aboriginal people have been eating from thousand years ago. Also, each dish had been made wonderful arrangements by Bob's cooking technique. Especially, I have never had emu... More

Outstanding experience - Best of 21 days travelling through Australia: Our tour started at the Historical Telegraph Station Reserve where we learned how to get filtered water. Bob is part of the bush so he notices every movement of wildlife. We walked around and watched a kanguru with a joey. Then we drove out along the Western McDonnell Ranges to... More

Our family of 5 toured with Bob for 3 days/ 2 nights in July, travelling from Alice Springs to PalmValley and returning via Standley Chasm and Simpson's Gap. We had a fabulous time and it was definitely the highlight of our NT trip. Bob is a qualified chef whose love of the country and food is contagious. He helped us... More

We have had the most wonderful tour this afternoon and evening. Bob is a friendly, engaging and extremely informative host. Great with the adults but also very engaging with our two sets of kids on the tour. He took us to the Telegraph Station and gave us a very comprehensive overview of the early history of Alice (named after Mrs... More

I highly recommend this activity. It provides tourists with the rare mix of amazing bush food with the life experience of a truly amazing person. Bob's stories and experiences of growing up and understanding Aboriginal culture from his point of view is not to be missed. Without the meal it is worth an evening with Bob. When you mix this... We have just come back from our Easter trip to the Red Centre. We went out on Bob's tour with a lovely group of 8 others and we really enjoyed it. We started with a visit to Telegraph Station and then onto Simpsons Gap before settling into the site for dinner. While Bob cooked over the open fire, we all... More
