I can't recommend this walking tour enough - we'd already been to a couple of museums / heritage sites in Alice before joining Linda's tour so knew a little of the history of the town, but Linda's knowledge of people and events past & present is fascinating and we came away with a much greater understanding of this town. It... More

Linda's tour was so interesting that I've purchased her book "Still a Town like Alice". My favourite part of tour was going inside the very old gaol. Linda took the trouble to find out about question I'd posed (whose answer she didn't know) and emailed me the information.

Both Anna and I enjoyed the very interesting anecdotes of the past events and stories of what makes Alice Springs a unique and important town in the history of Australia. Linda showed us some of the photos depicting the town's formative years and the pioneers as well as relating to us the culture and way of life of the aboriginal... More

I was lucky to be part of a great walking tour through Alice Springs this morning. Linda Wells of Foot Falcon gives personal, entertaining and culturally informative insight in to the history of the town and the people. A really enjoyable and highly recommended 2 hours of story telling and information. Great for newly arrived workers and tourists alike.

Thanks Bboom! It was great to meet you and show you around. You're right, the tour is great for newly arrived workers and tourists alike. It is also great for people who have lived here for some time. So many longer term residents come on my tour and can't believe what they find out and didn't know. So you possibly... More

Linda Wells knows her stuff and is a friendly guide on this easy wander around the CBD of Alice Springs. There is a wealth of little details which flesh out the history and development of the town and Central Australialia. Linda is able to place the features of the town and it's history in a broader context. Alice Springs is... More
