Just got back from the Trek Larapinta end to end and I am ready to walk with these guys again. It was a truly amazing trip. The guides are informed, fun, open, hilarious and inspiring people. The track is incredibly changing and beautiful. Each day was a delight with our guides celebrating the small and great things along the way,... More

Trek Larapinta is a small local Australian company. There is nothing small about the experience. The set up is professional, well planned, well thought out and combined with excellent guides with local knowledge and passion for what they do. This creates a most unforgettable hiking experience. The base camp model works really well for this trek, the camp is a... More

I met Richard recently when he called in to stay with us at Quorn Caravan Park on the last night of an Heysen Trail / Flinders Ranges trip. As a fellow tourism / hospitality operator, I was very impressed by Richard's professionalism and level of care shown to his guests. He is very personable and everyone enjoyed themselves - happy... Great food, guides, camp sites and gear. Guides paced the group well, were knowledgeable, especially when asked about items of interest. Well organised. Leaders listened to walker's needs. Showers at the end of the day a great luxury. Felt very confident in the leadership. Highly recommended.

Pick out an easy stage first and try it out. Some parts are quite rough and trying. Certainly through the summer great care is needed as the heat can be a killer. Daylight starts with a good plan is required and let someone know where you should be and when. Through the winter and cooler months is the best time... More

My sister and I had the most enjoyable outback holiday you could of imagined on the 9 day trek Larapinta. Sleeping under the stars with the glowing moon gliding slowely overhead was a dream. Early in the morning a couple of dingos strolled on by just ignoring us as we sat and ate breakfast by the campfire. The campsite was... More

As we back pack a lot we thought we would do the Larapinta Trail independently, fortunately we did not. Trek Larapinta made it all too easy and we could relax every day, take our time and enjoy ourselves. The guides are fun, caring and knowledgeable attending to all our needs including foot and boot care along with the luxuries of... More

If you enjoy photography the Trail is a dream. Even so the landscape is so unusual that you could not fail to enjoy it. Most attractions are easily accessible by car, at least the best ones. Some are 4WD only but they are not as good as the others.

Our 9day trek with Trek Larapinta was over too soon. Our guides' were knowledgeable and their enthusiasm to share their love of the region was infectious. We enjoyed amazing meals cooked for us on the open fire and in the camp oven. The swags were surprisingly comfortable and our permanent campsite offered the luxury of Balinese style bathing and composting... More
