Just got back from four days on the Larapinta Trail. I started at Redbank Gorge and took four days to hike to Ormiston Gorge. The trail itself is well-marked and well-maintained, with water tanks at each campsite, and the scenery is unparalleled. Highlights included hiking Mt. Sonder for sunrise and swimming in the waterholes. I only wish I'd had time... More

We did a six day Larapinta Trail walk with Trek Larapinta in July 2014. They were recommended to us and it was a fantastic experience. The campsite was great and our guides were so friendly and helpful - and organised. Delightfully fresh mornings, beautiful days and absolutely awesome scenery. The flora and fauna are unbelievable but the colours and views... More

I only did parts of it but I would definitely return to walk the full length. From what I saw, it was magnificent.

Although we only explored a few sections of the trail we were blown away by the beauty of the area. The waterholes, rock formations, hills and mountains were all amazing and well worth the visit. The kiosk that can be found around half way along the trail also make the best iced coffee in NT.

I did a lot of research before deciding to do this trek using Trek Larapinta. What a great decision! The whole experience was amazing. 16 days of pretty hard walking through some of the oldest terrain on earth. Clare and Ben were informative guides, who were also brilliant cooks, great fun, helpful in the extreme and generally excellent company. The... More

My wife and I were booked to do a 9 day Larapinta trek with "Trek Larapinta" and paid them $5030. My mother got very ill two days before we were about to leave so we cancelled. She subsequently died four days later. Despite providing a copy of the death certificate "Trek Larapinta" would not refund a cent. I understand that... More

Beautiful couple of hours to enjoy nature. Saw kangaroos, birds, parrots and peace and quiet. What a lovely way for a tourist to experience the area.

It rocks! We walked parts of the western end of the trail. It is well marked, without being over-done

You can just do a few kilometres from the Telegraph Station if you choose… a beautiful safe walk. Bring water in summer. Choose sunrise not twilight
