Awesome trek! Stunning sceneries. Highly recommend it. From 17 to 22 August 2014, Nicole, Aran & Simon took care of our group, aged between 34 and 75. Those 3 guides were very professional & friendly, and impressively well organised. Weather was incredibly nice, although nights were chilly - nothing that human warmth cannot overcome though. Coming back to the camp... More

In July 2014 we did the Larapinta Trail as a 'supported' walk with Trek Larapinta. The trail was clearly marked, however it was great not to have to carry big packs over the difficult rocky terrain, and to have an expert guide (Kat Cullen) to tell us about every aspect of the natural history along the way. Kat carried fresh... More

I recently completed the 6 day World Expeditions trek along parts of the trail. I loved it. I had prepared for it by doing rough walks with hilly sections in my local National Park and managed to complete the 6 days with no blisters or broken bones, so all good. They had 90mm of rain in April 2014, so by... More

An excellent experience in first week of August provided by Trek Larapinta, with guides Ann, Kate and Andrew who were fun, knowledgeable and totally professional. Most walks were strenuous for an inexperienced trekker, but manageable and rewarding. Accommodation was a base camp located in a delightful setting on the side of a dry creek. Great meals were provided. Very fortunate... More

my husband was fascinated by Larapinta and the incredible formations viewed when flying frequently Brisbane/Perth. A friend recommended Epicurious Larapinta assuring me we were fit enough and her rave about good food and wine convinced us to book. The trek was everything that was described: spectacular trails, food etc; friendly helpful guides. But as non campers we were not quite... More

Went in a group of 9 with Trek Larapinta and had a great time. Fun guides and lovely food. The country was a delight to explore.

I have just had an amazing 5 day trek in the MacDonnell Ranges courtesy of the Life`s An Adventure Team. To walk with just a day pack made it so much easier and the tents were waiting at the end of the day or a soft bed at the Glen Helen Homestead. The planning that had gone into this walk left... More

We did a 6 day walk on the Larapinta Trail. It really makes you appreciate the awesome grandeur of Australia with sweeping views of the country around the MacDonnell ranges. A truly beautiful place.

Am amazing 6 days of walking sections of the Larapinta Trail and experiencing wonderful scenery and friendly company from fellow walkers and guides. The food was gastronomic and in plentiful supply. No chance of walking off any weight with these meals. A special holiday of endeavour and achievement.

This was my first hike ever, and I did it alone (which is unadvisable, everyone tells you to hike with a friend for safety) but I had the most amazing time. The track is stunning, and the rangers have done a great job of servicing all of the campsites with water tanks and some with dunnys. I highly advise this... More
