Wow is the best word to describe it. Being an animal lover I'm so glad my husband and I came here . Brolga is such a sweet man and it's so nice to see how much he cares for the Kangaroos . We got amazing photos and also had the chance to hold a Joey. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Brolga is the kind of dude who will make you want to quit your job, your lovely wife and your kids to become a kangaroo mum. The sanctuary is a beautiful place where we got to walk surrounded by kangaroos and holding a baby Joey. You learn how to look after a baby kangaroo if you find one on the... More

Brolga is an kind and caring person who truely has the kangaroos as the No 1 priority at the Sanctuary. If you expect this place to be like a animal park you will be very suprised. I love it how one of the main points that Brolga educates visitors about is that you must always look at an injured or... More

This is the best tour we have every undertaken and were blown away with the experience. Certainly the best valued and most enjoyable experience we have encountered in Australia or elsewhere. Brolga provides such an intimate and personal insight into the sanctuary and the life of kangaroos that will resonate in us forever. Has extended an already deep respect for... More

We visited Brolga's sanctuary while we were at Alice Springs, staying at the Doubletree, which was also excellent. Brolga's enthusiasm is contagious - he walked us through the sanctuary introducing us to his kangaroos by name. We each had the opportunity to hold a little joey in a fabric bag, to represent its mother's pouch. We learned a lot from... More

Absolutely amazing experience. As others have said tours take place in the evening so the kangaroos are waking up as you walk through the sanctuary. Also great to carry 'Bob' around too! Brolga is a legend! If you find yourself in Alice Springs on a Wed/Thurs/Fri make sure you head along to the kangaroo sanctuary :-)

Just meeting Brolga, Kangaroo Dundee was fanastic and a educational experience. Walking “The Bush” with Brolga as the kangaroos are waking up from their day-time sleep. Brolga pointed out the plants, trees etc. that was not only important to the Roos but to the Aborigines as well. He gave everyone a chance to hold “BOB” the baby. Lots of chances... More

Brolga is a selfless and caring individual that makes you want to help out baby joeys, even if you're just a visitor. Holding a joey is a wonderful experience and it pushes you even more to want to help save kangaroos. I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals.

This was an eye-opening an very educational experience everyone should have the chance to appreciate. We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to learn more about kangaroos. It was especially heartwarming to learn how their young are cared for at the Kangaroo Sanctuary when the mothers are killed on the roads. The chance to see kangaroos up close... More
