If you are ever in Alice Springs you have to visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary. It is a wonderful place and we had an amazing evening walking in the bush with the kangaroos and carrying the joeys. Fabulous!

We watched Kangaroo Dundee on TV and were so amazed that we organised a trip to Australia to visit the sanctuary ourselves. It was one of the best things we did on our trip, Chris (Brolga) is passionate about his work and extremely informative and welcoming. It was a delight to be able to hold one of the joeys (Betty)... What can we say about this apart from brilliant, superb experience,my wife got to cuddle a baby kangeroo which she talks about to everyone she meets. The overall visit was fascinating getting up close to the animals and seeing and talking to Brolga was for us both one of the highlights of our tour. The set up is a few km out... More

Visited one evening in November. Chris(Brolga) met us and led us through his modest former home. He gave us a little information about his background, and then produced 2 joeys in bags to hold! He is completely dedicated to his kangaroo sanctuary and was so genuine that we were all captivated. He introduced us to Doreen and Audrey, Aboriginal ladies... More

Chris (brolga) does the tours himself, this is definitely not a Disney type experience. He is an engaging and genuinely passionate advocate of his work. There is no visitor centre, shop or cafe but Chris doesn't need / want this degree of commercialism. A brilliant, heartwarming experience.

We visited with our tour group at twilight when Kangaroos came out. Joeys, where mothers have been killed in road accidents, are brought up by 'Kangaroo Dundee'. He is the most passionate and knowledgeable person you will ever meet concerning the wellbeing of Kangaroos. We imagined we would see kangaroos from afar but soon they were leaping all around us... One of the coolest places you can go in Alice! We arrived early, before the bus of more people, so we go to hold baby kangas in pillowcases for a long time. They were so sweet, they kept falling asleep. Once the bus arrived we were given a brief overview and then we got a chance to hear from some... More

This visit to the sanctuary was one of the highlights of our Australian trip. The passion this guy has for the Kangaroos is unbelievable. We had the opportunity to hold rescued baby Roos and that was amazing not to mention being up close to Roger the massive male kangaroo. A must visit if you visit Alice Springs.

I had the pleasure of going to Brolga's kangaroo sanctuary last Wednesday. I had the best time. After seeing his TV show, which the BBC named Kangaroo Dundee, I always liked the idea of going, and when circumstances brought me to Alice Springs and I knew I had to go. He's such a cool guy and loves what he does,... More

I went to this tour with the only purpose of seeing kangaroos close but I got more than I expected. I met a person with a passion and love these animals that is very contiguous. He is a very down to earth person and will treat you like he knows you from before and have the patience to answer all... More
