The highlight of my trip to Alice Springs!

This was the best experience of my life thus far! I had been meaning to check out the Kangaroo Sanctuary since my first trip to ASP in 2012 and what they say is true: "third time's a charm". I was surprised at how little my knowledge regarding the care for kangaroos was, and was glad to have participated in the... More

On the coach to the sanctuary we watched the program Kangaroo Dundee staring Brolga and it was weird to get off the coach and meet him face to face. He is fantastic and so dedicated to rescuing kangaroos. You can only visit on certain days and on an organised tour with about 20 or so people. Brolga explains what he... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Brolga spoke so clearly, making sure all questions were answered. The kangaroos were so friendly and Brolga made sure everyone got to see them at their best. It was also extremely educational. Well worth the cost.

This sanctuary is the long time vision and passion of one man. It is a no frills tour run by 'Brolga' himself. A very humble man that offers a tour that is informative and up close. Great pick up service from your accommodation is included in the price. A must do attraction when visiting Alice.

Nice bus trip that had onboard screens playing the doco. When we pulled up, we were each greeted by the very personable and passionate, Brolga. The walk is very easy and flat the whole way. He has so much information to share and is very happy to answer questions from all. If you're looking to get that great shot of... More

We were thrilled to meet such a lovely man who genuinely cares for the wellbeing of orphan kangaroos. The tour was a wonderful walk through the sanctuary, where we learned more about kangaroos than we could have hoped. And holding a little joey was a once in a lifetime experience. Brolga is a great talker, and is very patient with... More

So happy that I took my children to the Kangaroo Sanctuary. Prior to going I did wonder if the sanctuary may be more suited to international tourists just wanting to see kangaroos and if Brolga was the real deal. Brolga is a laconic gentleman with excellent skills in tourism, without any over the top tourism bravado. My children and I... More

Loved my visit here so very much. Brolga is a great host and you can feel his passion for these kangaroos. He is very informative. We all got to cuddle a baby joey whilst we walked around the sanctuary. Well worth the visit, you will certinally learn something.

We were looking for something to do during our stay in Alice Springs and stumbled upon this sanctuary on TripAdvisor. I'm so glad we did! I'd never heard of the BBC documentary series, Kangaroo Dundee, but made sure we watched an episode at home before arriving in Australia. It's helpful to arrive with a little bit of the background story... More

An inspirational visit - the highlight of our trip. To see at first hand the work that Brolga does was just brilliant. I never stopped smiling the whole evening especially when I got to hold a very recently rescued joey Indie. Seen the two series on UK TV and read Brolga's book and have to say that in real life...
