This was the highlight of our 3 week trip around Australia. The booking process was easy, pick-up was on-time, and the tour was amazing. As soon as we got off the bus, Brolga was there to welcome us to his sanctuary. He is one of the most genuinely passionate people I've ever met. He has sacrificed so much to help... More

This is an amazing experience which I would highly recommend doing but make sure you book ahead as he does not allow people in every night and not if there is already a tour group booking. No toilet facilities available. Bring your camera and a bottle of water as you will spend your time walking around. Support this endeavour as... More

Typical of a Sydney-sider to whine about the price... Get a life 557jill557. This place is very well worth the visit and you know the price you pay goes back into looking after these beautiful creatures. Very very informative and great for kids. Can't get this experience anywhere else in the World. Fully recommended and couldn't give a rat's bum... More

The centre and the owner provide you with a unique experience of being close up to little Joeys and full size kangeroos. It was privilege to meet the man and talk to someone who is so committed and caring towards the animals. A very educational visit that brought home to my wife and myself that humanity has its champions and... More

Having seen Brolga on the BBC series we couldn't visit Alice Springs without going to his kangaroo sanctuary. What a treat. The visit has to be pre-booked and you cannot take yourself there, a coach collects you from your hotel or location. It was a small tour of about 25 of us personally led by Brolga. Absolutely unmissable. If you... More

What an amazing experience, the opportunity to see Kangaroos close up and to cuddle the baby Hope in her bag. Brolga Barnes was so interesting and clearly lived to help orphaned roos. What a highlight to our holiday.

We spent several weeks touring Australia and this was undoubtedly one of the highlights. Brolga is a fascinating and friendly enthusiast. He explained every aspect of kangaroo life but especially the importance of checking road-killed adults for live joeys. The sanctuary is where he allows orphaned kangaroos to grow up before being rehabilitated back to their natural environment. During the... More
