Nice small groups, Brolga is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Absolutely amazing what he does. Gives everyone attention en is interrested in you as a person. The little Joey's are adorable, and so is Roger. Learnt a lot within 2 hours about kangaroos, and other wildlife. I recommend this very higly!! Its worth every penny!

It is a really special experience to meet Brogla and to see how much passion he puts in the help for his little "joeys" (young kangaroos). We weren't aware how famous this guy is in Australia. But after talking with him we understood why And we even stopped later during our travel for a dead kanagroo, looking if there is... More

Visited back in March 2014 while travelling Australia, this was a magical experience which I urge anyone to go and do if you're going to be Alice Springs. The sunset tour was lovely on the beautiful 90 acre Sanctuary. Brolga was welcoming and warm, you could tell he was really appreciative that guests took time out to come and see... More

This has been the highlight of our visit to Alice Springs. Beautiful experience to walk around Brolga's property at sunset, to meet his roos, and to listen to Brolga's stories. Got to carry a Joey for a while, pretty special, and wonderful to witness overseas visitors having their close up encounters with joeys and friendly roos. Brolga's face off with... More

did get to hold a joey and walk around the property but that's all. I think I was expecting more hands on,like seeing inside a pouch, more indiginous contact. Think price should be lower for experience.

We took this tour due to the amazing reviews it had. I would probably give it a four rating but am giving it a five to help Brolga in his endeavor. We live in a region where we get to see kangaroos regularly. We've also done a few experiences where you can feed and pat roos. So, from that aspect,... More

Amazing and unforgettable! We learned a lot, we were inspired and our 9 and 13 year olds were mesmerized by their time with Brolga and his kangeroos. Our daughter said it was her favourite experience of our 3 week vacation in Australia. Thank you Brolga!

Chris Barnes has great presence and obviously loves his charges. Roger (head kangaroo) is the star, especially if you have seen the tv programme. As Chris said a good example of why you don't keep a male kangaroo as a pet. The walk thru the sanctuary was stimulating and restful, due to kangaroos suddenly appearing like meercats and the sky... The Kangaroo Sanctuary provided brilliant insights to the visitors about the mission initiated by Brolga! If you are hesitating because of the pricy tour ($59 for student/backapckers &79 for adult), I would say Kangaroo Sanctuary worths every single cent that I've paid for! The best attractions in Alice Springs

If you haven't seen any Red Kangaroos on your travels yet you'll definitely see them here in a very natural environment (a big enclosure). You'll also get an idea about their care and about threats to them in a very easygoing way. And you will meet a very nice guy with heaps of stories to tell. Don't miss this!
