Surprised

This was better than I expected it to be, I went with my brother a truck driver from Melb, he loved it and I found I really enjoyed it too. Lots of interesting stuff.

There was so much to see at this museum. An amazing collection of history related to not only trucks but many mechanical machines. It was a little sad to see some of the old machines sitting out in the open slowly deteriorating in the weather. Well worth a visit. Disappointing that you had to pay an extra fee to visit... More

There is so much to see here it would be better to do it as a tour through the place rather than on your own. Even if you are being dragged along by your partner to see it you will find some very interesting things. The cost of $15 entry is worth it and you will need a couple of... More

This museum concentrates on trucks (plus a few buses, with smaller numbers of cars and motorcycles), reflecting their impact on central Australia. The collection is huge, so much so that some are properly displayed and explained while others are just scattered around. There is a second hangar with the display dedicated to the Australian Kenworth truck company. It even functions... More

Loved the old vehicles like the T models and the fire trucks but even the Kenilworth vehicles showed the importance of road trucking in outback Australia.

We visited here with all the family and spent many hours looking at all the sheds and displays. There is so much to see and the kids even had a go on the kiddy train around the complex. A great place to visit.

We only went to the Train museum, you have a choice here but after visiting that side, we decided against seeing the trucks as that was going to be another entry fee. The place is tired and needs an injection of creativity in the displays. The information they have is fantastic but needs tidying up and the guy we spoke... More

My husband loved this place, but he is a truck driver, I wasn't so much a fan. It was very clean which surprised me. The kids and I raced through it, but my husband loved every minuet of it
