Transport heaven

Good if you enjoy trucks and transport. No air conditioning so not great on hot days. Not a lot of information on the cars etc but great to look at.

I am really a classic car buff was was interested in seeing what this had to offer as it also has pre-war Vintage Cars. We went on a hot day and many of the exhibits especially the older trucks are outside. Initially you go through the reception into a large warehouse that has a mezzanine area with vintage American cars.... More

Dozens of trucks in different conditions, but mostly with not a single word of description. You won't learn anything in this museum, you can just look at more or less rusty trucks.

This was an amazing collection of transport vehicles and our 6 year old son was particularly fascinated! There is no aircon though and it was a hot day. Be prepared for the heat!

The attraction is well worth a visit especially for affianados of vintage autos. Huge collection and very well presented. Once again history is being preserved for which they are to be congratulated!

We spent most of the day here as there was so many old cars and trucks of yesteryear to look at.. They also had a great collection of new Kenworth trucks. Well worth a visit. The Old Ghan museum was right next door which we also visited.

An interesting museum containing many restored vehicles and memorabilia relating to the history of transport all over Australia. A credit to the volunteers who run the facility.

A great spot to spend a couple of hours if you are interested in the trucking history of the Northern Territory. A great collection of historical vehicles as well as a modern display of Kenworth's latest. If it's not your thing here's the Ghan Museum next door as well as a coffee shop (nice folk) and shiny trinkets for the... More
