This is one place worth seeing. For $15:00 Adults, it is real value for money. Take your time and explore every nook and cranny. The Kenworth Trucks are a must and you can even go inside one to see how the truckie lives - fabulous. It does not matter how many times I go, I always find something new to... More

It started out to be a small history collection showing transport used in outback Australia over the years. It has turned out to be a major Australian transport museum with displays, library, vehicles of all makes and sizes covering not only the outback but most areas of Australia where road transport has opened the country over the years. It is... More

$15AUD and there are no maps to guide you. Truck history is important to Australia and this exhibit does a good job of showing many makes and varieties, some in better shape than others. If you are a truck buff, then you will have found heaven. For the rest, it is as the name implies, "Road Transport".

This museum was very interesting. There is so much to see that the entry cost covering 2 days certainly helped as it was more than I could manage in one visit. My wife didn't come in with me as she didn't think it was the sort of thing she would be interested in.....and she was probably right about that, however... More

This exhibition of trucks throughout the history of the Alice is definitely worth going to. It is extremely well laid out, very large and a lot of work has been into the displays.

I'm normally not one for museums but this was well worth the $15 entry. I went to see a truck donated by my cousin and saw so much more, old trucks, cars and all sorts of memorabilia. The Kenworth gallery was particularly impressive with a range of new and old vehicles.

This was better than I expected it to be, I went with my brother a truck driver from Melb, he loved it and I found I really enjoyed it too. Lots of interesting stuff.

There was so much to see at this museum. An amazing collection of history related to not only trucks but many mechanical machines. It was a little sad to see some of the old machines sitting out in the open slowly deteriorating in the weather. Well worth a visit. Disappointing that you had to pay an extra fee to visit... More
