This was a very interesting trip, however, our guide totally omitted taking us to the Visitor Center at Uluru, which was not only on the schedule but when we made a 5-minute stop there for the bathrooms, he said they were closed. They were not. He was in a rush to get set up for dinner at the Uluru viewing... More

Leah was our driver and guide for the West MacDonnell Ranges full day tour on 18-June. She was knowledgeable about the Aboriginal legends, the Aboriginal history and also the European settlement periods. Leah was very personable, attentive to all on the tour, ready with a smile and very fun to tour with. The day passed very quickly and we felt... More

When we visited Central Australia a year ago, we had to pass up Palm Springs and Hermannsberg. This tour allowed us to visit them in a guided 4wd bus trip. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and well informed of the flora and fauna of the area. Having seen the track, I would not be concerned to travel it myself in... More

Had a most enjoyable day trip with a well informed and lovely happy guide Leah. Can highly recommend both the company and the tour. One of the best experiences we have had so far.. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful and we were lucky enough to see camels, a dingo and rock wallabies.

We had a great day out in the West Mac Donnell Ranges. Our driver and guide Deb (originally from Italy) -she had a lot of knowledge and shared many funny stories with us ;-), making the day very enjoyable and entertaining. The day went by too fast. It was a good combination of driving and stops with some nice walks... More

Excellet trip with some serious shortcomings. Nowhere was it made clear how much walking and climbing was required, and that us really important to know. It sounds like a bus trip with occasional pit stops, which is not true. Also, having done lot of 4WDing in rough places, I know this route could have been driven more gently and comfortably.

Fantastic tour with Debra, who is very passionate about the area and knows a great deal about the Aboriginal connection to the land and areas we travelled through. Debra was very friendly and accommodating, adapting to a group with a variety of ages and fitness levels. We visited Standley Chasm, Ellery Creek, Ochre Pits, Ormiston Gorge, Glen Helen for lunch... Our day to the West MacDonnell Ranges with Alice Wanderer Tours was just great. The guide, Leah, was bright and chirpy all day, with lots of interesting information to pass on. Visits to the various gorges were not rushed, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Lunch at Glen Helen Gorge was one of the best.... More

Our driver/guide Debra proved herself, yet again, as not just being a capable and knowledgeable guide but also an experienced and humorous off road driver. She maneuvered, gestured and cajoled that 4x4 bus over rock outcrops, through river sand. She even carried on with her gesticulating commentary while manipulating the beast of burden over terrain we would not take our... More
