We had a fantastic day with Phil our driver / guide. Travelling in a Motorhome, we are limited with regard to off-road experiences and this tour provided everything we could ask for: * great commentary * ample time at each stop * a good sized group - 16 * magnificent scenery * a good balance of sitting in the bus... The 2 Drivers Stuart and Phil are passionate about their job & give great commentary and knowledge of the area. They made a long day very enjoyable. An upgrade to the coach would make it an even more enjoyable trip.

This local tour was ideal for myself and my group. We had taken longer tours and trips over the 4 days we were in alice springs and we wanted something that wouldn't get us back too late (due to having elderly people within the group who tire easily and wanted an easier day). The tour guide was humorous and friendly... More

Palm Valley is one of the most striking areas of central australia...well worth seeing if you get the chance. But it is only accessible by 4WD (and high clearance at that) so I decided to go on a day tour from Alice Springs. I chose Alice Wanderer and not disappointed. Jim was the driver /guide: drove really carefully /sensibly to... More

This tour was a highlight for us. The scenery was magnificent, the colours startlingly brilliant, and the commentary provided by John, our driver and guide, interesting and informative. There were plenty of stops and opportunities to get out and about, explore, and enjoy the beautifully clear weather. There were only 9 of us in the group and this made the... More

This was a very enjoyable trip with lots of information on the places along the way. The 2 guides were very nice, we had breakfast morning tea lunch and dinner supplied which was more than enough food for me. It would have been better had the seats been allocated prior to getting on the big coach. My husband and I... More

This tour is amazing. To see Palm trees and Ghost gums growing side by side naturally is a true wonder. The ancient Cycads were awe inspiring. Going with this tour group is the best way to travel the unmade outback roads without the trouble of driving them yourself. We thought travelling up the river beds was terrific. Our driver/guide Phil... More

What a great day this was. And to have Jim on this tour was just fantastic, cause he himself is a big part of Central Australian tourism history. He's got lots of stories to tell and he is happy to share them with everybody. The scencery absolutely fantastic. A great 4 WD track, which I would have not liked to... More

Our last tour day in Alice.. Was picked up in little 22 seater 21 April 2015 by top young fella, Phil... We'd been to Kata Tjuda National park, Kings Canyon with another tour company, but the time we had & the sights we crammed into one day was great.. Ploughman's lunch was beautiful... Phil (tour guide) was terrific. Very informative... More
