We booked this on line at the insistence of my daughter. Well chosen! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The way he spoke to the camels was amazing - gentle but in control. He gave the impression of loving his job, and he enjoys sharing the camels with visitors. The ride was very comfortable, our steeds not at all... More

Excellent. The camels were great. They're treated with love and care and they all have their own personalities. The guy who took our tour was friendly and funny. Free transfers from our accommodation. Would have loved to do the sunset ride but they fill up fast.

I was wary as have had a couple of rough camels rides in the past, but this farm was very different. The camels seemed so relaxed and their owner spoke to them firmly but kind. The up and down of the ride was very smooth and gentle. Our family, kids 7 and 10 yo did the sunset ride. A really... More

Had a great evening on the sunset camel ride with Pyndan Camel Tracks. It began with the very helpful James on the phone when booking the tour and tying to find the most suitable slot for my schedule and answering my questions. James picked us up and made us feel welcome straight away, then Malcolm and James helped us onto... More

We booked the sunset camel ride and it was definitely a unique experience. Great view across the plains and ranges with beautiful colours. We arrived at the Farm a little early and were able to work out what the Major Mitchell cockatoo was saying. It was: "Look at that!". Which are the first words that everyone seemed to say as... We were collected by James in a minibus from our hotels and driven the short distance to the camel farm. We were told the names of our camels (mine was Anna) and were paired up for the ride. It's a pretty ride at sunset across a wide flat valley surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Alice Springs are. When... More

My friend and i went on a camel tour a few days ago and were at first quite impressed with the facilities. But this ended quickly when we got over to the camels, Marcus who seemed freindly gave everyone a nice saftey talk about the animals and then Marcus and Malcom (Malcolm took us on the walk) started to put... Thank you for taking the time to write. My sincere apologies for the unpleasant shock that I gave you. I should never have disciplined the camel in front of the tour group. I have worked with camels for 32 years and understand them very well. The smack only annoyed him. It did not hurt him. He knew he had not... More
