My friend and i went on a camel tour a few days ago and were at first quite impressed with the facilities. But this ended quickly when we got over to the camels, Marcus who seemed freindly gave everyone a nice saftey talk about the animals and then Marcus and Malcom (Malcolm took us on the walk) started to put... Thank you for taking the time to write. My sincere apologies for the unpleasant shock that I gave you. I should never have disciplined the camel in front of the tour group. I have worked with camels for 32 years and understand them very well. The smack only annoyed him. It did not hurt him. He knew he had not... More

This was one of the "The Ghan " excursions things to do whilst in Alice Springs for a short while. We are glad we selected the Camel Ride with these guys. Picked up by James at Alice Springs Railway station. He was as down to earth as they come and a real Aussie bloke. Within 15 minutes we arrived at... More

At Pyndan camels are family members and are taken good care of by Marcus, James and other lads. We were fortunate to get a ride with Good Boy and Butch. The experience was terrific as James let us know a lot of the life of camels. For us it was one of the highlights to see little Jamal who is... More

We selected this from the tours offered by The Ghan during its stop in Alice Springs. Overall a well organised experience with well behaved camels; an interesting ride; and a welcome snack of dips, fruit and juices in the immaculate museum/souvenir shop on return. The experience could have been significantly improved by a more comprehensive commentary on the location, the... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. I will discuss with the cameleers the need for consistent effort in providing a commentary about the beautiful outback and our hard working camels. Thanks for visiting! More

Riding Camels? No way, but I guess if I dragged the missus to the Hall of Fame Truck Museum I had no choice! Well was I surprised, the way they handle this is awesome. We were picked up from our caravan park and from the time that we were dropped back we had a ball. Ignore the abuse you get... More

So glad your camel experience with Pyndan Camel Tracks has swayed your opinion of camels! We love and respect our animals including Mr Pat the cockatoo, who at aged 74 will probably not change his loud ways! Thanks for taking the time to review and recommend. More

James is the perfect host for our adventure at Pyndan camel tracks. Picked us up and took us home via town (thank you) all included in price :) we had the best time even on the hour long trek. We ranged in age 6 to 67 and I think my mum - the 67 year old had more fun then... More

I did the sunset camel tour on Sunday 1st Feb and have to say I was pretty nervous. I arrived early and was entertained by the young apprentice MALCOLM who was so passionate and knowledgeable about the camels and was very clear he loves them - which was great!!
