I am 9 years old, I recently went on a school excursion with Belmont Christian College. It was a long trip on the bus from Newcastle but it was so much fun when we got there. I love animals and want to be a vet when I'm older. I took my own photos and learnt lots about animals I didn't... More

This was our most fun breakfast ever. Our daughter treated us to the breakfast as she had been told this was something that you should not miss. You are told to arrive by 7.15am but we did not get for several minutes after this. We were beginning to wonder if we were at the right place, but everyone else was... More

The Zoo on a whole is a very normal zoo where you can see animals from the other side of the glass. the unique thing about the zoo is that you can interact with kangaroos, which is included in the ticket. to touch a koala, you need to pay a fee. the Snakes are really pretty and the crocodile is... Good venue for tourists not heading to Taronga across the harbour, or looking for more close ups. Im a local, but love the giant croc they have. My son had a great time, and you can get through in a pretty swift time compared to a full day at Taronga

Do NOT waste your money here. The facility, although clean, is small. Had every trapping of typical tourist trap: expensive ticket, grouped with the likes of wax museum, tiny area, pictures extra and expensive at that. Do either Taronga or Featherdale. Do not waste your time or money. I can't believe what I paid for for this. As soon as... More

I was quite disappointed with this Zoo. As I queued for my ticket I felt a bit dubious as the Koala in the main foyer looked royally fed up. As I walked round pretty much all the animals looked exactly like the Koala - totally fed up. I was mostly looking forward to seeing Rex the Crocodile but his enclosure... More

After having visited the reptile park in Gosford a few days earlier, and the Sydney Aquarium next door the day before, this was a real dissapointment. Kangaroos were not interested in being fed anymore. My wife and son (9) did the Wild Flight, but it took longer to get secured in the seats by the staff then the ride itself.... More
