It was a little wet on the day that we visited the zoo but we purchased a poncho each and off we went, we felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves, it was fantastic. We spent several hours strolling around the many paths admiring the amazing group of animals. The weather cleared into a lovely sunny day which... More

A must do if you are in Sydney in the summer. Great concerts with the harbour, bridge and opera house as a backdrop. Free transport provided so you could use that to get free transport and spend the day in the zoo as well. Take a picnic and a low chair, or you can hire them there. A great evening.... More

This zoo located next to Madame Tussauds at Darling harbour has rich variety of reptiles and small mammals. You can take picture with Koala but cannot touch them. There are 2 Kangaroos which are more active during the evening time.

We mostly avoid zoo's since we don't appreciate caged animals- however we had a bundled set of tickets with other attractions in Sydney which included the zoo and since we were around the place we entered it. It was a weekday, and we expected a lesser crowd than weekends. To our sheer horror, the place was filled with kids from... More

Great experience, the animals look happy! It doesn't take long to get around but is perfect for a morning or afternoon! The Python encounter was great, you can have it wrapped around you have have you photo taken individually or as a group (for an extra fee). The keepers were knowledgeable about the Python and able to answer questions and... More

This is a fabulous zoo filled with Australian animals next to Darling Harbour. Not only will you see lots of great animals but there are interesting and informative talks. There are even special animal encounters. I was pleasantly surprised by this zoo. I would happily return for another visit if I ever return Sydney.

We came here with our son and 2 year old grandaughter whilst visiting them in Sydney. We all had a very good experience. Zoe was absolutely fascinated by everything and excitedly pointed out everything to me, particularly the snakes, at which I was trying to avoid looking, not being a fan. I thought the place was very child friendly and... More

You must keep in mind to check the wild life website before entering to it. The keeper's talk is a good event to watch, and if you miss it you are going to experience an expensive ticket payment without a single photo with one of the famous Australian animals interactively. An adult must pay 40 AUD to see the adorable... More

I do not consider this a zoo. is just like a place to keep the animal and for show... compartment is quite small, but still ok... as can buy ticket for all access which is cheaper.... if no go to the country side wild life here is good enough for the Australian animals like the kangaroos, koalas.,...
