One of the fun facts I learned in Australia is that 71 percent of its mammal and bird species and 88 percent of its reptile species are ONLY found on the Australian continent. A day spent in this amazing zoo offers its visitors the opportunity to see so many animals they'll never see anywhere else. My favorite part of the... More

Very disapointing ! I don't like caged animals but I followed some friends and I think the fare is way to high for what it is and really does not deserve its name .The only good thing about the zoo is the location near Darling harbour.

This has some great Australian animals to see, although a lot were hiding and could not be seen anywhere no matter how long you looked. Some great interesting dangerous creatures. It is nice how you can go at your own pace. The photo shots were fun at the start.

I was lucky enough to get to do a behind the scenes tour which was an amazing experience. I got up close to lots of Australian wildlife and the friendly zoo keeper told me lots of interesting facts. This zoo is small but you can easily spend a couple of hours at least going around. This is a fantastic opportunity... More

Quite a good place around darling harbour. Lots of things to see. Can get up close with the koalas. Staff are very friendly. Please remember to turn your camera flash off. The poor tasmanian devil was going crazy every time a flash occured. There are signs banning the camera flash but some people just ignor it

This small zoo gives a Good oportunity to see real Australian's animals: cualas. kangoros and some lizards. Entrance fees are quite expensive- 40 Aud for an adult without any extras. There is a sight of a crocodile trying to eat a chicken, not educational to show to young children.

The Wild Life Sydney is at Darling Harbor and hence very accessible. It has got a good sampling of native Australian animals (yes - Koala, one crocodile, some kangaroos, wombat) But be aware that this is not your typical zoo..The animals are in glass cages / limited open enclosure. If you have time visit the Taronga zoo or a more... More

Took my five year old grand daughter, mainly to visit the butterfly tropics as she loves butterflies and what an awesome day we had. The butterflies were no doubt her favourite, especially when one landed on her, she loved it. We enjoyed the whole experience, all the animals were great to see and walking into the enclosures to get a... More

Overall a great experience. Small and interactive. Murray working with the Kangaroo exhibit and Caitlin in the Koala exhibit (pictures) were both AMAZING !!!! I would go back just because of them two. They took their time, was very patient, knowledgeable and made it worth the entire trip to Sydney alone. 5 STARS due to the staff !!!
