On the small side but considering its location in Darling Harbor, its really not a bad place. I took the behind the scenes tour (I recommend if you have the time and they aren't booked!) Very interesting to see just what goes on behind the scenes and learn about the animals. A very Aussie experience, with tons of Aussie animals.

Very over-priced for what you get to see. If you want a proper zoo, just grab the ferry over to taronga. I get that it has Aussie wild life, I just felt a little ripped off

Right in the middle of Darling Harbour, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo gives visitors the chance to get up close with Australian wildlife, including koalas, snakes and lizards. Better suited to international tourists, locals will still marvel at Rex, the 5m long salt water crocodile (call ahead of time to find out feeding times). Keepers are more than happy to chat... The Wild Life Zoo is in a central location and you do get to see the animals up close however their enclosures are very small and not very natural. We had a 5 attraction pass so that's why we came but if you didn't have a pass and had already seen a Koala, wombat, wallaby etc I wouldn't bother. If... More

You see so many animals, can hold a koala and even kangaroo's. Big crocodile and lots of snakes. All of Australia's native animals all in one place. They all look well looked after and have big enclosures.

The location is great! It Located at Sydney darling harbour, lots of restaurants, bars. The zoo is very small and I won't pay full price to visit.

It's OK. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for the experience. We got one of the multi passes which made the price per attraction more palatable. It is a very small zoo and it doesn't take long to walk all the way round. We spent max an hour there ... A little disappointed. A lot of the Australian favourites are... More

I have to start saying that, I m against zoo, but with 2 small children, and being in Sydney i was curious to see it. The area is actually "small" but it was amazing what they mangaged to do in such a central location. Thre is a huge seasalt water crocodile in a huge pool .... you kan give food... More

I did this along with the aquarium and Sydney tower eye. Since I had limited time in Australia, I went here. The animals were so amazing. I especially liked how "tame" the butterflies seemed. You get right up to them, and they did not fly away. I also got a chance to see animals that I would not have seen... More

It was interesting as you get a private tour around the place before the breakfast. It would not have been that great without a guide as the place is not interactive. Everything is enclosed. Breakfast with the Koalas are ok. You get to take a picture with them but you cant touch them. My kids werent that thrilled about the... More
