While my husband was out golfing I got to tour the Wild life zoo. Got to have my picture taken with a Koala! Was kinda hot in feb...perhaps jan may have been a better month. But if you have kids you have to go here.

This city zoo is a gem. It has everything squeezed into a tiny package in the city. You should visit this zoo when you are in Sydney and skip Taronga Zoo. Skip the Sea Life Aquarium next door and just stick to this and you won't be disappointed.

I bought a Merlin pass, so that makes this place a worthwhile stop. I would not pay full price for a one day ticket. This is the place to quickly see a variety of Australian native creatures.

I just wanted to write a review that show's that service is still alive and kicking, I took my son to see the Koala's and was given the greatest treat of letting him pat one. Our two (3 years and 18 months) loved this much more than the aquarium, I think because of the variety. A great range of Australian animals and most were really active. Signs were informative and the kids enjoyed patting a snake during the Outback talk. Small zoo which suited us for a morning out.
