We are annual pass holders. Love this place. See heaps of Australian animals. Great if your short on time or just don't want to spend all day at the zoo. If you are after Australian animals, you can't go wrong here.

It is expensive, but much more interesting than we first thought. We "encountered" many animals, like the snakes, koalas, wombats and even the stick insect. These "animal encounters", eg. a wombat on a lead walking across the hallway, were the most interesting part of our visit. The place is also bigger than you'd at first expect, taking about 1-2 hours... More

Oh this place needs to be shut down!!! the animals are all clearly stressed, when my 3yr old can see and comment that the animals don't look happy there is something really wrong. I felt so sorry for the animals and when we got out Koala photo taken, you can't even see the Koala!! would have been better off taking... More

I recently visited the Wild Life Sydney Zoo and I must say it was amazing. I liked the information session on Koalas. But the salt water croc REX was the star attraction. I took a lot of photos and was surprised to see that they provided us with a photo book as a memorabilia.

To some of australia's abundant wildlife it's here. Well mostly. Numerous snakes, spiders, kangaroos and wallabies, tassie devils, and a big croc. And that's about it. We have a Merlin pass so the expense doesn't touch us too badly. But for a one off experience bundle up with the other attractions and save some money. If not for my young... More

The view into the enclosures for the animals are excellent and you can get really close to see all sorts of animals. However, the photos from the green screen at the entrance are expensive for what you get when you see them at the end. Quite understandably, everyone wants a photo with the iconic Australian animals the Kangaroo and Koala.... More

This is a very small zoo. But, there are plenty of examples of the animals that Australia is famous for: Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Exotic Birds, Crocodile, etc... If you have an opportunity to visit a zoo outside of the central business district, you can probably skip this one. If not, GO! We enjoyed it. It was clean and the help... More

extremely expensive. so only go if you regard your payment as a contribution to wildlife research. the zoo is overbuilt, to much cement and concrete. most exhibits are elaborate but very very small.

Small but includes many species. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, but I was quite disappointed by the fact that the website says "cuddle up to a koala" when actually you are not even allowed to touch them, and you have to pay 20 bucks if you want to take a picture a bit "closer" to them. Couldn't get... More

Quite small in comparison to other wild life centres in Australia. However being in the centre of Sydney it boasts a variety of Australian wildlife without travelling far.
