A six kilometre round trip from North Cronulla excellent surface all the way and lots of parks and beaches of various sizes, lots of picnic areas and ocean to enjoy and you can always replace the calories back at the many cafes at the Northern end.

The Southern Beaches of Sydney is closer to the Airport and doesn't get the crowds that Bondi and Manly get., Take a leisurely walk along the Cronulla esplanade and you'll get a choice of fantastic beaches and sea pools. It's worth a little walk to find the quiet more isolated places that nestle into the rocks along the coastline. From... More

I've spent many years living in Sydney and sampled many beaches. For space, access, cleanliness and great patrolling, you cannot go past Cronulla's stunning selection. The beach walk is a wonderful way to view them too, at any season. Unlike the crowded and sometimes downright unpleasant Bondi to Coogee walk (see my other review) the Cronulla Beach walk is relaxed,... More

Got a spare half a day? Or maybe just 1 hr? This great walk starts at green hills in the wanda beach car park and goes right along the shore line to port hacking river. Take your camera and the one you love!!!

My uncle and aunt took me there to actually enjoy and see where they usually went while arriving to Australia with their young kids. Its was so nice to actually know that place. No waves and good and safe for children.

Whether walking along the Esplanade or walking along Greenhills to Kurnell along the beach early in the morning the scenery takes my breath away every time. I have watched many a sunrise & in the peace & tranquility, I have seen dolphin riding the waves, fish swimming in the waves as the sun reflects thru & the rare sighting of... More

Took the train from Sydney which was great value and spent the afternoon taking the beach walk slowly and enjoying the views, beach and paddling in bath temperature water. Loads of fish and pelicans to watch. Great to see families out having fun. If you have time for another visit here get the ferry to Bundeena where there are great... More

From Sydney very easy to get to Cronulla beach, forty minutes by train. A short walk to the beach then a huge walk on the beach, many facilities, I liked the body and feet showers. Lots of seating too.

Cronulla is a beautiful small beach town at the end of the East and Illawarra train line from Sydney Central. The walk around the point from North Beach to Gunnamatta Bay is scenic both seaward and inland as the houses overlooking the sea are amazing. Good value in the Marina Cafe to revive your appetite and take a rest too.... More
