Starting at Cronulla Beach, this is one of the least challenging walks, along a very well maintained pathway mostly 8 feet wide beside the sea, it is magnificent always. Walking beside Cronulla Point, an excellent right hand point break for surfers, past Shark Island (on its day a fabulous surf spot also) one can see across the Port Hacking River... More

this is an awesome walk. we started at cronulla beach and walked along the beach and over the rocks all the way up to shelly beach, a lot of fun for the kids and us big kids too. just make sure you don't get stuck with high tide coming in!

This walk is amazing. You can either walk or run. This area is very family orientated, and you will see lots of mothers pushing prams, while other people will be either running or power walking along the paths. Doesnt matter what time of year you go, the view is always worth the walk. When you reach the top of the... More

Cronulla takes about 40 mins on the train from the city, but it's well worth the visit. It has many very beautiful beaches where the water is crystal clear. There's a beautiful icecream shop there to take some with you on your walk. A slower pace than the city beaches down in Cronulla... and friendly locals.

A beautiful beach to walk along, or along the paths provided. Nice little rocky areas to climb around too, otherwise a very easy and relaxing walk if you stay on the path. Opportunities to keep going or shorten your walk are handy. Lots of scope for taking lovely photos.

I love walking along Cronulla Beach and the Esplanade. The vast view from the far north to the south is spectacular, with the waves rolling in. There is always a feeling of happiness in the air...it is such a vibrant place to be and even when it is a quiet time the beach is liberating.

The walk along Cronulla beach is fantastic for watching the scenery, both nature and human. Many beautiful people frequent the area as well as the numerous cafes, resturaunts, pubs and parks. Great for just relaxing and watching the world go by, taking the kids to the park, or letting them skateboard. Great afternoon out.

Starting from Cronulla Beach, this walk takes you along a pedestrian walking path and loops back to the train station. After enjoying gorgeous Ocean views, nice houses, you can stroll in parks or dip into little creeks or enjoy a picnic.. It's also perfect if you want to run!

The walk covers the area from the surf beach along the ocean front, right past gorgeous purpose built homes and goes up to the northern point of Port Hacking; ocean to still water in one experience. Plenty of seating at vantage points; lots of other strollers to keep you from getting lonely make it one of Sydney's under rated offerings...... More
