I did this walk on a Saturday and the beginning of the walk was packed with people walking, jogging and cycling. Some joggers and cyclists are a bit pushy and some locals stop along the pathway to talk to friends - they block the pathway all together. After walking about 3 km the amount of people dropped off and I... More

Easy walk in both directions. Pavement great for pedestrians, prams and wheelchairs. 1) Head south (about twenty steps) or for the disabled or elderly or prams follow the path behind the Surf club - for a gentle incline. Continue past "the point" see the board riders, past small secluded beaches, past "Shelly beach" free ocean swimming pool, past "Oak park"... More

i liked that its very coastal , you stick with it all the way unlike other walks in sydney that can meander in and out. its fairly flat and close to the town centre and beach if you wanted to go for a swim

Well, its like this. I travel from interstate and love to visit Cronulla at least four times per annum. Once there was a dangerous ethnic brawl. Over. Recently there was a murdered bloke, who's body had broken free from its anchor, floating in the bay. The other day a huge Mantra Ray, flopped over the sea wall into the Ocean... More

Quite a nice walk....Lasts about 45 minutes. Although I prefer the walk around Manly to Shelley beach, the Bondi Walk is great too so there are better options

Beautiful scenery, less crowded than some other coastal sydney walks, great cafés and restrain ants in cronulla. Easy walk from path to swimming beaches or rock pools. If it's low tide continue around Bass and Flinders Point and walk back Gunamatta Bay. It is spectacular

Half an hour from Sydney is Cronulla, a charming village situated on the sea and boasting beautiful beaches stretching for kilometres for surfing, swimming and sun bathing. An interesting walk from from Cronulla beach meanders along the coastline on paved walkways(making the going easy) south passing stunning parks, ocean pools, restaurants and cafes. The walk culminates at the Hacking River... More
