Half an hour from Sydney is Cronulla, a charming village situated on the sea and boasting beautiful beaches stretching for kilometres for surfing, swimming and sun bathing. An interesting walk from from Cronulla beach meanders along the coastline on paved walkways(making the going easy) south passing stunning parks, ocean pools, restaurants and cafes. The walk culminates at the Hacking River... More

Clean, tidy, fun with plenty to do. There is lots of decent places to eat for all budgets, the sand and surf is great too. Accommodation option are good. Parking around town is poor even off season. Some good bars close to the sand. Around cronulla is the national park and boat trip around the river which is good at... More

This is a really lovely, wonderful walk along a spectacular beach front All ages of people & their dogs wander along here & just sitting down & people watching is very enjoyable.

Could walk for hours with a smile as the walk has ease of access for prams, bikes, wheelchairs & feet. The fresh smell of the sea breeze makes you forget how close you are to the city

What can I say, but this is my favorite beach in the World. Really worth the 40 minute train ride and stay for lunch on at the beach side cafe.

Cronulla has a couple of good beaches but if you take the coastal path in a northerly direction not only will you have fabulous views you will find a few relatively secluded little areas on the coast where you can swim and sunbathe away from the crowds.

Although went on a quiet day it was still over crowded for a Queenslander. Really have to watch your change in the food venues here too as they put an extra two zeros on your drink bill if your not aware.

I've done this walk most of my life especially when I've felt down & out .It clears the mind and is great exercise, even the joggers aren't a bother. An easy walk, nothing strenuous. Always something to look at and usually there's an ice-cream van at the end of it.

If you find yourself out in the Sutherland Shire, this is a walk that you should attempt. Not as congested as the Coogee to Bondi walk but just as stunning. This passes through a few bays where there are tidal pools that you can take a dip in, should you need cooling off.

Nice Southern suburb. Great access to Drive south thru shire down to Scarborough Hotel for lunch. Thru oldest National Park next to Yellowstone in ' age '. Better food, 1/2 price of Sydney CBD, ( but still not cheap by US standards )...lets be honest..the most value for money in eating out..is the USA..and I'm Canadian. No one touches US... More
