Unless you want to swim Or have a picnic and you have plenty of time.. this place is boring.. nothing much to do. I would rather go to more interesting places as a tourist.

I am a fan of all the Sydney beaches so it is hard to say something bad for any of them. As far as I remember, this one was the only one that could be reached by train so no parking problems :)

its a nice beach, very clean. Here are a lot of surfers. Close to the beach are a lot of shops and public toilets and showers (cold). Nice to be here

Cronulla is one one of the beaches that one can park the car for FREE. The walks are beautiful, and one can pick the walk allong the esplanade with stunning views of beachfront houses, water and rocks. But if you prefer to walk on a sand, highly recommend the walk towards Boat Harbour. The scenery is breathtaking, and it compares... More

Thank you to Cronulla Council for the dog beach at Wanda, it's so great for the doggies to play in the surf and all owners are very responsible

I do this walk often, most weeks actually, and I never get sick of it. You can start as far up as Kurnell, or anywhere on the middle. The walk can take you anytime from 10 mins to 2 hours, and more if you just keep walking. The esplanade is well kept and looks great, with a stunning view. However,... More

Beautiful walk at your own pace. Follow the ocean from beach to beach. I sometimes take my little dog who seems to love the walk as much as I do. Break the walk ...enjoy a coffee...breathe in the fresh air...great place for photos.

I did this walk on a Saturday and the beginning of the walk was packed with people walking, jogging and cycling. Some joggers and cyclists are a bit pushy and some locals stop along the pathway to talk to friends - they block the pathway all together. After walking about 3 km the amount of people dropped off and I... More

Easy walk in both directions. Pavement great for pedestrians, prams and wheelchairs. 1) Head south (about twenty steps) or for the disabled or elderly or prams follow the path behind the Surf club - for a gentle incline. Continue past "the point" see the board riders, past small secluded beaches, past "Shelly beach" free ocean swimming pool, past "Oak park"... More
