This is normally my favourite part of Sydney; a beautiful walk with such contrasts of parks and gardens, peace by the bay contrasted with the energy of the harbour. Yet, on Australia Day when we invited a few friends over to watch the harbour activities, all of this was ruined by the selfishness of P&O - they took the prime... More

We start this walk just off Bogota Avenue (parking for free) and finish at the Mosman Bay marina. It's our favourite walk so far and have done it many times and brought here all of our visitors/ friends. The kids can scoot (no bikes allowed), it's buggy friendly (although there are bits with short stairs) and most of all -... More

Superb views of Sydney, opera house and harbour bridge, passing lovely gardens and trees. Good pathway, watch out for joggers flying by. We have done this walk twice and it is fab.

This walk is just gorgeous, lots of shade as well so you are not in direct sun all the time. It takes you around the Harbour foreshore with unbelievable views. It also has some stunning houses to gaze at! A must if you visit Sydney!

This is an easy walk but one every visitor to this wonderful city must do. The scenery is amazing! Harbour and bushland - how lucky are we locals!

Yes, I mean it! We ventured to Mosman after reading about this walk on TripAdvisor. Although we started from the Mosman area, this was definitely worth it. As we headed along the winding path, we had spectacular views of the crystal blue water gently supporting the many yachts sitting by the bay. The spectacular houses will have you in raptures... This is one of the loveliest walks on the harbour. A visit to Sydney must include a walk around the waters edge and this is as good as it gets. Shaded and not commercial. Catching the ferry to the start and returning from the finish is all part of the experience.

Quick ferry ride from Kirrbibilli. Easy little walk around this tiny bay filled with very expensive boats. Had a cold drink an a spot of lunch at the sailing club followed by a boat trip back to circular quay and then a lovley dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery, intimately local. This is one for the locals that few tourists explore. Have lunch at Mosman Rowers after your walk. Make sure you take the side trip to Cremorne Pt lighthouse.
