I'm not sure how this ended up on TripAdvisor. The State of Origin is a 3 game football sporting event between New South Wales and Queensland as they battle it out to determine which is the better state in football each year. Unless you're from NSW or Queensland, it won't mean a lot to anyone. And unless you're here for... More

I grew up loving football — REAL football, or as we call it Down Under — Rugby League. Grab the chance to see first-hand the game our blokes play without all the trappings of safety gear associated with American Football. Aussie footballers play the WHOLE game with no time-outs, no "defensive" or "offensive" teams swap outs, and hardly any long... More

Full house at ANZ Stadium always brings back memories of the Sydney Olympic Games. State of Origin would have to rate up there for atmosphere, especially with the Blue and Maroon rivalry. Fortunately the Blues were victorious on this occasion. Despite the crowds, everything always seems to move fairly seamlessly when it comes to disgorging the crowd at the end... More

One of the greatest sporting spectacles you will find in the world. If you are a fan or sports and the subsequent rivalries that come with it, this is a must see

Everyone in the office at Dunn & Bradford Hospitality absolutely enjoys being apart of the State of Origin. The intensity, the sportsmanship. The whole vibe in the stadium was just awesome.

Awesome atmosphere especially when NSW shows QLD how the game is played. Some the food is a bit pricey better to eat before you hit the game.

One of the greatest sporting events I have ever seen. A must watch if in Sydney or Brisbane in May or June. Atmosphere was fantastic, the game itself was the most toughest sport I have ever seen. So much contact and skill.

We recently travelled to Brisbane for Game 3 of State of Origin and booked a package with Sportsnetholidays.com - it was absolutely fantastic. We purchased accommodation/ticket package. As promised a package arrived at our Hotel with some great goodies inside, books, keyrings, stickers, hats and of course our tickets. We made our way to the the pre function which was... More

Game itself wasn't that exciting but the transport and atmosphere at the stadium was amazing - so great to be there to see NSW win!
