We recently travelled to Brisbane for Game 3 of State of Origin and booked a package with Sportsnetholidays.com - it was absolutely fantastic. We purchased accommodation/ticket package. As promised a package arrived at our Hotel with some great goodies inside, books, keyrings, stickers, hats and of course our tickets. We made our way to the the pre function which was... More

Game itself wasn't that exciting but the transport and atmosphere at the stadium was amazing - so great to be there to see NSW win!

I went to the State of Origin game and it was amazing! The fans, the intensity of the game, the whole vibe was awesome. The stadium was huge and didn't feel too crowded or over packed. The concession lines were short and it didn't take long to get drinks or merchandise. Nice evening out with friends, great energy.

As they say: State vs State - Mate vs Mate, and it sure is. Rugby League is not really my game, but this one is different. Closer to war, with pride at stake, the combatants go for it and there can only be one winner. Unfortunately, Queensland seems to understand the importance better and have won the series for seven... The State of Origin is an annual grudge match between rugby teams from New South Wales and Queensland. In recent years, Queensland have dominated the competition. The winner is the best of three matches, and even if one side wins the first two, the final match still goes ahead. It's difficult enough for locals to get tickets, and international tourists...
