Watson's Bay is great for a quick getaway from the hussle and bustle of Sydney CBD. Take the quick Sydney ferry for a casual fish and chips lunch at Doyles take away and eat it sat on the front or in Robertsons Park overlooking the bay and with the city in the distance. We caught a Hop on Hop off boat to Watson Bay. A pleasant way to get there. Walked to the Gap from the bay - well worth seeing. Had lunch a Doyles Seafood Restaurant. Very nice.

Best reached by ferry. a small harbourside bay where you can eat fish and chips on the beach or at Doyles Restaurant, or sit in the Watson's Bay pub for the whole day or evening. Very pretty and quite, although the weekends can be busy.

The Watson's Bay area has great views but amenities don't match it. Having said that, if you want to enjoy a ferry ride out from Circular Quay and then lunch at Doyle's, its a nice touristy thing to do.

Catch the ferry there and return to the city by bus via Bondi. Spectacular trip both ways. The harbour views are iconic. The hotel is excellent for a meal or fish and chips in the park is as good. Walk around to Camp Cove via million dollar fisherman houses to its harbour beach or risk getting the gear off at... More

A great little trip from Circular Quay, Sydney. Take local ferry to Watsons Bay. Get fish and chips at Doyles take away. Great feast. Take the walk up to the headland and then return to circular quay in the afternoon. A greatt rip for not much money. Good for singles couples, families etc.

This is definitely a great place to visit. I've been there twice. When you get off the bus, you can start walk along the coastal line. Different scenery compared to other coastal line.
