We had cocktails and a delicious dinner with a beautiful view of the harbor. A perfect setting as the sun was going down.

Watson's bay is a nice place and can be reached by a ferry from almost whole of Sydney. There are regular ferries to and from Watson Bay

Always make a point of going to Watson's Bay every trip to Sydney as I enjoy having lunch at Doyle's and spending the next few hours walking off the meal on the numerous walking trails that overlook the Tasman Sea/Pacific Ocean. There are buses that cost approximately AUD2.5 from Circular Quay to Watson's Bay that takes about 30 minutes

I came to Watson's Bay after hearing some rave reviews. It was really windy the day I went there and there was not much to see/do at all so I was a little disappointed. It is a nice spot to stop off for an hour but I wouldn't really want to spend much more time than this there.

One of my favorite places in Sydney, just a short ferry ride and you are there to have a grand lunch on the small beach, then up the hill to some dynamic views of the ocean, waves and rock formations. Been to Australia many times, and this is always on my itinerary. Just a pleasant day, and a nice boat... More

You can get to Watsons Bay easily by the regular 380 bus via Bondi Beach you can catch at Liverpool Street near Museum Station or by ferry from the Harbour ferry quay. I did bus out and ferry back to vary the journey. Watsons is famous for Doyles fish and chips. Go for the takeaway at AU$13.80 rather than the... More

Watson's bay is almost surrounded by water.... once at watson's bay you feel so relaxed. I recommend not only going to the park there and fish and chips shop but go all the way up to Gap Bluff. Go for a stroll around and enjoy the hidden treasures of Sydney around Watson's Bay. You can also walk around the coast... More

This is one of the oldest suburbs of Sydney and you can take the water taxi over to one of the oldest seafood restaurants in Sydney. On the beach. You can see back to downtown Sydney so the view is great. The restaurant gets overwhelmed on holidays so give those days a miss.
