Get some fish and chips and head down to the waters edge. Watch a boat race on the harbour and get friendly with the seagulls. There is a fine pub for a drink or meal. Sydney's most famous suicide spot is a stroll away- the infamous 'The Gap' is worth a visit too.

Jump on a ferry out to Watsons Bay, grab some take away Fish & Chips and enjoy them in the park or on the beach, your choice. The journey to Watsons Bay is the where the real joy is, but the serenity of Watsons Bay beach is nice, just more often than not too crowded.

So different i. The week and at the weekend. tranquil place with great Sydney views and you can get there by ferry from the city. But on the weekend youll be sharing it with hyndreds of visitors and a big queue for the ferry back to Sydney. Great restaurants and a nice park for the kids to kick a ball... More

I went to Watson's Bay with a group of friends and we have spend the entire day there. It's only a short ferry ride away from Circular Quay. The beaches are amazing, there is a nice park and there are some short but beautiful walks to do. If you walk up to the lookout point, you have the most amazing... More

Great chill out place. Whether its parking yourself at one of the restaurants/ bars, or simply relaxing with a picnic on the lawn. Loads of place for the kids to run. Great for a lazy afternoon.

I have a personal attachment to Watsons Bay. My ancestors had a dairy farm there in the late 1800s. Nonetheless I feel I can give an unbiased review of its delights. Firstly, it is very popular on weekends and school holidays, so avoid peak periods if you don't like crowds. I also recommend public transport, parking is limited and scarce.... More

An iconic bay/beach areas, if you have some spare time and the weather is great, spend the day here, lazing around take a picnic basket and your sweetheart and it will be a great day to remember, if warm enough go for a refreshing swim and a refreshing beer or wine and watch the sunset!

Have been many times, and it's beautiful in summer and winter (as long as it's dry!) There's a park where you can relax, and you can either choose to eat at Doyles or go cheaper with fish and chips...lots of options and a great day out if you take the ferry from Circular Quay.

A beautiful part of the world and worth the look and wonder. Take a walk along the entire beach and take in the magnificent views of the city.
