This place is so close by the city but yet feels worlds apart. We enjoyed the walk, relaxing by the beach, visiting the lighthouse etc. Lovely day trip indeed!

Because if not for the magnificent views of that fabulous harbour you would swear you were down on the south coast in some sleepy little fishing village. Don't just go the excellent pub or the iconic Doyles - just go!!

Watsons Bay offers a view of the CBD that leaves little to wish for - especially as the sun is setting and you can watch the sun set as the lights of the city spread out before you. There are a number of restaurants along the bay, Doyles Seafood among the best known. the food is good but it's better... More

Sydney is so fortunate with its harbour and beach sites and this is one of the better ones. Parks to relax in, several restaurants to enjoy fish n chips, easy to get to whether by taxi ferry or driving

Good place to go for lunch , take the city ferry ride. Nice pub on the beach there and grab some seafood from the cafe. Just like an olden fishing village.

If you want some excellent fish and chips try the famous Doyles. Make sure you guard from the seagulls if you are having them in the fresh air!!

Catch the ferry out from circular key, walk from the ferry up to the ferry terminal at Watsons Bay to the Gap (the entrance to Sydney Harbour) a beer at the pub and fish & chips from Doyles. Or maybe dinner at the restaurant

Take the ferry across to Watson's Bay the very renowned Doyle's Fish Restaurant and to top that off you can go for a short walk to the other side for a scenic walk along the coast just beautiful. Certainly worth the ferry trip across to Watson's Bay

We arrived here by ferry from Circular Quay in the afternoon. Watson's Bay is a beautiful, tranquil and delightful place towards the mouth of Sydney Harbour on the Southern side. There are great restaurants, beautiful scenery and a very pretty beach front. It's on a narrow stretch of land with the Harbour on one side and the Pacific on the... More
