Like most people I love Balmoral so it gets very crowded, not just on weekends. Car parks can be hard to find and when you do the meter rates are ridiculous. But it is a beautiful, safe place to swim, wander & eat.

Excellent small beach, very popular with locals. Variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants that make Balmoral a good choice for a quiet day away from the busier beaches further north.

One of my favourite places in Sydney. Easy to get to with the ferry to Taronga Zoo then the bus to Balmoral . Fabulous place to eat at the Pavillion either restaurant or Bistro. Enjoy the walks and the beach at your leisure! Fabulous,one of the places that you will always want to go back to.

Lovely part of the world to go for a walk and a coffee, the views are beautiful, even on a hot day its great to sit under the trees. only draw back is its metered parking and on the weekends hard to find. Great spot for a swim, lovely and calm.

Ocean beaches such as Bondi are great but this type of beach can be found in many places around the world. What not to like about Balmoral. The water is crystal clear, the scenery is fantastic. There are so many lovely cafes nearby as well as some great harbour walks. One of Sydney's hidden treasures.

We have been coming here since I was a child. It is a beautiful inner harbour beach with calm water all year round. This is not a surf beach so don't be misled. Unfortunately the local council have introduced parking charges which is shame.

My first 25 years were spent at Balmoral Beach. Probably one of Sydney's most iconic and scenic spots to spend a day. Great restaurants to relax at.
