Description: The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two...
The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

Sydney's most famous sporting venue. Great to watch a cricket game at in summer or even and AFL game in the winter. Many childhood memories of this place

I really enjoyed going to the SCG. It was made even better by my team winning. It is a very easy ground to access and it is also a fantastic viewing ground. All in all a good experoence.

What a great couple of hours on a boys weekend of sport in Sydney. All 9 of us walked out and said that was a really good experience. To stand in the old members stand and change rooms and to imagine all the highs and lows the good times and bad that have occurred throughout Australian sporting history was once... More

As an Englishman who happened to be in Sydney on the day Richie Benaud died, I found my way to the Sydney Cricket Ground as I had heard they were opening the ground so that people could pay their respects to the great cricketing man. Unfortunately, I arrived just after they closed, so I took a couple of pictures and... More

For cricket lovers, and other sports fans, the tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground is a must. The tour guide was very informative, friendly and easy to listen to. The tour includes Allianz Stadium as well as the SCG, with a tour of the team change rooms and a walk out to the edge of the grass in the Stadium.... More

Watched the Cricket World cup semi-final. Great atmosphere. The views are awesome. Seating capacity is medium but the stadium is huge. Easy to get around and top notch facilities. Decent food options. Drinks are pricey like all stadiums in the world.

A friend and I saw the Sydney Swans vs. the Western Bulldogs here on 2 May. Got tickets online from the hotel- very easy. Grounds- the stadium is well organized - it was easy to find the gate we should go in and then the bays are clearly marked. Lots of opportunities to buy gear with team colors and/or refreshments....
