The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

I went to SCG to watch India vs Austraila Semi Final clash as part of ICC 2015 world cup contest. The view inside the stadium is just awesome and I still remember the place and the buzz even now. The entry was so seamless, staffs were supportive. I was sitting in Member's Pavellion and it offered amazing view of the... More

I have been to many cricket stadiums around the world and there are not many better than the Sydney Cricket Ground. Despite its recent expansions and modern amenities, the ground elegantly preserves its history as well. There is free wifi and the place is easily accessible by public transportation, free buses during game days. I had the pleasure of watching... More

Been to SCG many a times. But this Quarter Final between Sri Lanka and South Africa on 18th March was a different game. Venue: We were able to seat at members and could see the cricket icons like Stayen, Sangkara, Hashim Amal and old veteran Donald from the close quarter. Atmosphere: Very colourful. Illuminated side board showing the sign of... More

Unfortunately the one day it decided to rain in Sydney over the weekend it was Friday the 13th.... The ground was lovely, easy to get around and lots of space. Wasn't packed mind you, but a good atmosphere anyway. Very expensive drinks available at the bar, of which the choice is limited mind you. Shame about the game but the... More

Went to the cricket, Afghanistan Vs England. Had Members Pavilion tickets which were a little more expensive, but able access to the museum and the new stand. There is a lot of history still in the pavilion. A nice stadium that is easy to get to and from, now the new foot bridge is open.

After being able to attend the Australia v Sri Lanka cricket match on Sunday 8th March, I found out a few things I did not know about our very own Sydney Cricket Ground 1. getting to the ground is hard work, if your coming from the western suburbs, leave at least 2h before you are planning to, traffic stops on... My son booked a tour of the SCG as a Christmas gift and we took the tour when we visited Australia in February. As any cricket fan will attest to the attraction of these tours is to visit the pavilion and other areas normally not accessible to mere mortals and walk in the footsteps of your heroes. We were told... More

I took the SCG tour in Feb '15. Its a lovely ground. The ground showcases the Australian legacy. Even with new developments they have done well to retain the old legacy. Unfortunately we could not see the members pavilion and get on to the ground as the World Cup was on. The tour is about 30 AUD and operates at... More

As a hardcore cricket fan, i loved the ambience from the outside gate till the WorldCup15 warm up match between West Indies vs Scotland. I along with my friend, got opportunity to see the SCG museum with all the domestic and international history including the memorial of Phillip Hughes. Only 2 stands were open for view, the Ladies stand and... More

Great venue but agree with someone else who says eat before hand. The prices are ridiculous. But that said we bring our own food and just buy a few drinks. Done the boxes a number of time so that always helps cut down the costs if you're invited. The food in the standard boxes aren't too similar to that at... More
