Description: The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two...
The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

Have done a few stadium tours, MCG, Anfield to name a few and the SCG tour is right up there so much history in the place especially in the change rooms and the museum. Sat in the change room you look at all the names wrote on the "honour" board in the away change rooms and think of all the... More

The SCG is the home of the Sydney Swans. This sporting venue is the jewel in Australia's sporting crown. The facilties are incredible - both in terms of familities; normal supporters and those seeking corporate hospitality. Every seat in the SCG has an incredible view - you must pop along and discover it for yourself!

Having been on a tour of Lord's Cricket Ground, this was a refreshing change. The guide was very well informed and welcoming with a good sense of humour. It felt as though we were seeing a lot of the SCG, not just some token areas. The group was not too big and it was possible to hear clearly and ask... More

The members area oozes character and we enjoyed being shown around it & hearing its history. However, character means inconveniences like poles in the way of your view of the ground. Compared to the MCG & especially the MCC, it is a hotch-potch - perhaps that is the big difference between our two cities - one is set out in... More

I love going to the SCG - it's my favourite stadium in Sydney and of course the home of the Swannies. Super easy access from the City via bus (pick one up from Eddy Ave or Castlereagh St) and a nice stroll back down after the game finishes (pub stops enroute of course). The usual food options (pies, chips, burgers)... More

This ground is a very special ground to the entire cricketing world. The place is a beautiful and has ample space. There is a super fast wifi in place and it always offers 4g equivalent speeds. It is amazing how they manage to offer such high speed connections. The ground is lovely and one can feel absolutely great to be... More

Iconic place - best visited when there's a test match (cricket) or important footy match being played so you can soak up the atmosphere of Aussies enjoying their sport. Food prices verging on high - but what do you expect at a venue like this?

Great venue for a footy match. Good visibility and well serviced bays with all amenities close at hand.

Went to the Swans Port Afl game last week, as always, the SCG delivers for this type of sport, easy to get in and out of the stadium and good condition of the ground itself. Buying food there is not cheap but it is the same at all ground. Getting to and from the SCG is a bit difficult. I... More
