The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

For cricket lovers, and other sports fans, the tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground is a must. The tour guide was very informative, friendly and easy to listen to. The tour includes Allianz Stadium as well as the SCG, with a tour of the team change rooms and a walk out to the edge of the grass in the Stadium.... More

Watched the Cricket World cup semi-final. Great atmosphere. The views are awesome. Seating capacity is medium but the stadium is huge. Easy to get around and top notch facilities. Decent food options. Drinks are pricey like all stadiums in the world.

A friend and I saw the Sydney Swans vs. the Western Bulldogs here on 2 May. Got tickets online from the hotel- very easy. Grounds- the stadium is well organized - it was easy to find the gate we should go in and then the bays are clearly marked. Lots of opportunities to buy gear with team colors and/or refreshments.... 15 of us attended the Swans v GWS match on Saturday afternoon and were privileged to be in a suite for the event. The suite was spacious and well maintained. Our suite attendant Susan was absolutely brilliant. She is seriously one of the best food & beverage attendants I have ever encountered. She hosted the room like we were visiting... More

My father first took me to the iconic SCG in 1969 to watch a Test Match between Australia and the West Indies. I have been there several times since then but the recent CWC 2015 Semi Final between Australia and India was my first visit since the massive overhaul to the venue. My friends and I had our seats in... More

I love the SCG. For the true cricket fan this brings a balance of the new and modern and the nostalgic past if the members and ladies heritage listed pavilions. I think its the best cricket ground in the world.

Went for a World Cup semi final clash between Australia Vs India. The stadium is absolutely amazing. It was packed with indian supporters but sadly for them they lost. I always wanted to visit the SCG and it was definitely a dream come true.

Cricket World Cup: South Africa v West Indies - Group outing with club & team. (Dads and sons). For someone that doesn't like cricket it was an awesome day and fantastic game. Lots of families , so next day out will be with the whole family. Food was mediocre and could be better, but that did not spoil the day.... More
