The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is responsible for managing two of Australia’s premier sports venues – the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium. Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. The Sydney Cricket Ground provides the perfect balance between the big crowd atmosphere and intimacy with the on-field action. These aspects, combined with the location of the venue, make visiting the SCG a special experience for all patrons.

Attended a T20 Big Bash match with family. A brilliant safe family atmosphere complete with excellent cricket. If you're nervous about going to a cricket match, it's really good. Facilities were ok - what more can you expect from a sports ground - the usual fast food and beer.

SCG is a historical venue which would be on the wishlist of most cricket fans. I totally enjoyed watching India-Australia T20 match at SCG. The experience became even more enjoyable as the match was an exciting last ball thriller which India won. It is a really nice ground and my seat was quite close to the side boundary. The crowd... As a cricket fan, coming to the SCG was a dream come true. The ground staffs, the facilities are all top notch. Watching cricket from the pavilion is a true delight. The crowd is amazing and very well behaved. Food is good and so is the beer. The public transport is usually very good in Sydney, but on match day,... More

We do have an excellent facility. Despite the age showing in places this is a great stadium and I wouldn't swap it for any fancy new thing. Cricket crowds well handled and the ground was well under control

We attend the New Years Cricket Test at the SCG each year. This year very wet, but normally a great experience. It is a comfortable walk from Danks Street (when it is not raining)

The place to watch sport of course in Sydney, this venue has a great atmosphere and good facilities. Always great to visit the SCG, went to a BBL t20 match this time. Clear scoreboards around the ground and seeing a cricket match under lights is something everyone should to. Getting in and out with a car can be time consuming... More

What a superb ground this is-full of history. We went for a Big Bash game, along with 38,000 other people! Great atmosphere especially as darkness falls and the splendid old pavilion is outlined against the night sky. Grab a 4 and 20 pie and a beer and enjoy a great night out

Went here for a big bash game with the sydney sixers playing. A real fun party atmosphere. Highly recommended even if your cricket interest is remote. Dont bring a bag if you can avoid it as the bag check takes forever.
