Both venues are located at Moore Park, only 4km from the central business district and adjacent to the popular bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the Entertainment Quarter. The historic Sydney Cricket Ground boasts an impressive list of credentials, encompassing cricket, Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, Baseball, Cycling and major concerts by the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel and Elton John, Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Eagles, Prince, Green Day and the Wave Aid concert. This really is a spectacular cricket ground. Its a little smaller than the MCG but as a cricket ground that's a good thing. I don't want to go to the ground and be so far away from the action I have to watch the big screen, you may as well stay at home and watch TV. So I had grandstand... More

This is an amazing arena to go to for the history alone. Being able to watch a cricket match here is even better. The seating is brilliant, the big screens allow a great replay view and the facilities are great. The only complaint is that the concessions do know how to charge!!

We were fortunate enough to be able to have lunch at the new air conditioned Noble Restaurant at the SCG during the Australia v India test match. This was a marvellous experience with an excellent menu, excellent service and excellent food. By coincidence, all us us ordered the slow roasted lamb shoulder for our main course and it was so... The tri-nations game,Australia v England was a day night game in perfect weather. The pitch was perfect, English batting not so good, but the colourful crowd were in good spirits.

Great venue for watching cricket. Take your own food though. The food is abysmal and costs a fortune. And pay the extra dollars for a grandstand seat.

Have been here lots of times and love the atmosphere as you are much closed to the action than with the giant stadiums. Also lots of pubs and restaurants around for eating and drinking before or after evening games. Accessed easliy from Central Station by dedicated buses if you dont want to drive. It takes ages to get out of... More

Just spent a cracking day watching the Aussies thumping the Indian team. It's a cracking ground, easy to get to and a great venue for a day out. Will be an even better day on the 16th jan when we give the Aussies a good going over

Was there just before the cremation of Hughes and the whole entrance was lined with flowers and Bats with caps. The cricket stadium is a must visit for cricket enthusiasts as it has a beautiful outlay. The museum is also very nice and the facilities looked nice to. A very well designed stadium

The tour guide was very informative and certainly knew the answer to the many questions the group I was with posed him. The tour takes you behind the scenes into the dressing rooms and the media centre, you also get the chance to step on the actual pitch itself, incredible stadium and excellent tour for all cricket fans
