Recently went to the Harry Potter Exhibtion. What a disappointment. The crowds were huge which was to be expected but it was ill-thought out how to control them once more and more people filled the exhibit and there were so many in there that the air was dank and smelt putrid. The gift shop was more like a junk shop... More

Probably great for those with younger children, who haven't spent the past 10-15 years with Harry, Ron & Hermione on their adventures. No need to take your camera, as you will not be able to take pictures. They will however take a souvenir photo for you which will cost you. Our first impression of what the exhibition would be like,... More

With easy access via walking or public transport from Darling Harbour (eg the monorail) the Powerhouse Museum is worth adding to your itinerary. In Sydney for the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Powerhouse, we also took time to explore the many other exhibits, including a Wiggles Exhibition! I am sure you will enjoy!

Recently went to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Powerhouse----took the grandkids---well worth the money. We all loved it. Even the 7 year old recognised all the creatures she had seen in the movies. It was very well done.

I bring my students here every year. They love wondering around and looking at the exhibitions. The major exhibitions change often. The current one is Harry Potter. Well themed and staged. Perfect attraction for families and suited for children aged 5-20.
