I took the Eastern Beaches ferry from circular quay to WB, then headed up to the main street, turn left and followed my way around the streets to the SHNP. Amazing views (beautiful 18 degrees, & sunshine)!! The Naval Base is located on a significant piece of SH, however, you can easily get around to enjoy the views, the history... More

We rode our bikes up to the lookout and it was definitely worth it - the views were stunning and we even spotted some whales! Would recommend for first time visitors to Sydney or even returning.

Almost every Sydneysider knows about South Head and Watson's Bay, but I would have to suggest that North Head probably takes the prize as a landmark destination worth visiting. The tourist trail wends its way across the top of Sydney's north head. The path is easily navigable and shouldn't present any problems to people of all ages. The various lookouts... More

Very popular easy walk from Watsons Bay. We even followed a chap with one leg using a crutch to smoothly go up and down the path with steps. From Watson Bay walk along the beach to grass patch between the houses - follow the street around (in direction of the car flow - its one way) and come to small... More

This is a nice place to escape the busy city life of Sydney. There are a lot of cliffs and you can see the Sydney Skyline. If you have a GoPro and a Pole you can take some really cool Selfies.

a great way to get a taste of the natural side of Sydney is to get a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly then do the walk from Manly to The Spit. This walk through parts of Sydney Harbour National Park offers stunning views as you walk the coastline and cliffs of the scenic part of Sydney Harbour away from... More

Hop on the ferry with your Oppo card on $2.50 Sundays and head on over to this beautiful park! Grab a gelato and have a picnic on the park, people watch, exercise or just chill.

So, if you get the chance to explore the park, pls do so. Pick a great weather day, hire a boat, and cruise around finding the quiet little private spots like Athol Bay and moor up in front of Taronga Zoo. The whole park from what I have seen is well kept, the Harbour is a wonderful place to just... More

As a city, Sydney is not my favourite, but is enhanced by the history on one hand and the wonderful parks and walks in places such as these parks.A city has to be more than glass towers and these parks are just wonderful to escape to.
