So much to discover, with ferries going everywhere and anywhere. You might see some sharks swimming about

As a city, Sydney is not my favourite, but is enhanced by the history on one hand and the wonderful parks and walks in places such as these parks.A city has to be more than glass towers and these parks are just wonderful to escape to.

This is almost a hidden secret - everyone has heard of Sydney's famous beaches but few seem to know of parks such as these. There are several locations which together form the Park but there are many options of either seeing local fauna, wildlife , perhaps even have a swim at one of the several beaches.

When planning our trip to Sydney we spoke about where we would visit, on mentioning Bondi beach, an Aussie colleague advised us to give it a miss and visit Manly instead. Boy, was he right! Have been here quiet a few times and every time is just as better as the last. Alot of tourists here which you expect but it doesn't interfere with your trip. Will be back again

One of the most beautiful harbours in the world. Numerous bushwalks around the shoreline with stunning views. Many islands to visit. Convict built forts, historic mansions, sandy beaches, remote islands all close to the CBD

I launch from Neutral Bay but the idea of the trip involves turning Fort Denison, Clark Island and then Shark Island before paddling to Chowder Bay for coffee and swim. Come back by Bradleys Head and any of the bays on the way. It takes 4 hours depending on how slow you sip your coffee! Visit a mega liner passing... More

Wow- what an amazing places and only a couple of hours drive from Sydney, pure white sand beaches & great for wildlife spotting- we saw a seal loving the waves! Only downside was lots of rain when we visited. Would love to go again on a better day.
