Sure it is pricey but totally worth it! and very, very secure! I am a 34 year old female, did the climb with my 67 year old dad who is in reasonably good shape (but doesn't work out in any way!). He was also fine doing it. The guides prep you, make you change into comfortable jumpsuits and the whole... More

The climb starts with a safety briefing and getting kitted out. Understandably this takes some time and includes a practice climb. Once out on the bridge the views are spectacular. Although it is a long way down you never feel unsafe as the handrails are good and the safety wire never comes off. The guides take you through the history... More

I am uncomfortable with heights and the climbs up and down the four ladders to reach the start of the arches were pretty scary. However the rest of the climb was exhilerating and I am so glad I did it. The whole experience is organised with military precision - the staff are all highly confident and competant and there is... I was nervous initially. However, you quickly realise this is very easy. You are taken in a room, sign some forms and then put in a climbing suit, which is basically overalls. You are then taken for 'training' in the back room, where you are shown replicas of the ladders you will have to climb. I don't like ladders as... More

We did the Sydney bridge walk in July and it is a definite must-do if you're in Sydney for any length of time. The whole experience is very professionally done with a 'trial' climb to assess if you will be capable and a good explanation of what is involved. It is nowhere near as physically challenging as you would expect... More

Pricey but good views from the top! Very doable, not the least bit scary when you're that secured. The Express Climb is really express.. Fast pace climbing up !

The two of us did the night climb in July, the whole experience was fantastic. We were both a little apprehensive of doing the climb but as soon as we met our climb leader Jess we both felt reassured. Jess was a great climb leader, so helpful, friendly and funny. The whole experience was great and professionally done. The night... More

My two kids and I climbed the bridge at twilight so we could see the lights of the city rise as we scaled the bridge. We did the three hour experience and enjoyed every minute. I know it may seem like a long time to climb a bridge, but it was over too soon. The guide we had was highly... More

I did the Climb with my daughter and it is one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Yes it's expensive. It is worth it. Words cannot describe standing at the middle and looking out at the view. Whenever we see the Bridge on tv etc now we still look at each other and say " we climbed... More

The hardest physical part of this climb is right in the beginning of it, where you must go up a series of vertical ladders. Once that is done, the remainder of the climb is a gentle incline over the arches of the bridge. If you are afraid of heights, then this isn’t the event for you. But if you want... More
