The ferry ride is worth the trip and was interesting. However, not sure the desination is that interesting. We did a walk around and found somewhere to have lunch before heading back to the ferry. Would not want to stay there for long.

Bias report here as we have a caravan on the river.
It is the most beautiful place, peacefully quiet despite the V8 ski boats which rule the river.
Not a place to go if you have a short stay in Sydney or potentially a long one!!!!!!

It is slow flowing and fairly muddy. The vegetation on the sides is lush. House boats can be hired. It is nice to picnic beside.
