Every year our Sunday School would hire a ferry and take us kids here. it was awesome and still is a good outing. Big plus that you can look out from the beach onto the harbour.

Sit up on the hill above the beach, watch the ferries or sailing races and let the sun set in the distance and let the stress of the city disappear. Have a dip in the summer...

There is a restaurant and a kiosk where some basics can be...

Family friendly, great views of Sydney Harbour and ferries passing by. perfect for family and group picnics. We went for primary school year end and the children had a great time. Parking can sometimes be an issue though.
With a great beach and a shark net this is one of the best places for a swim in Sydney Harbour. Avoid after heavy rains if entering the water.
