We enjoyed browsing and did find some bargains. Not like how it was in the 1980's but we reminisced & got on with it.

Excellent variety of wares, from new to retro clothes, funky food to niche chocolatier. Much of it hand or local made so its not cheap but certainly unique and good value if you want an experience AND some goodies.

We parked in Centennial Park and walked down Oxford Street to this small market. It had a certain hippy charm and atmosphere about it. Mainly handmade crafts, foods, trinkets and some hot food stalls. I found it quite pleasant to walk around but did not see much to interest me. I would not put this on my must do list... More

Made the trip to Paddington Market from the CBD only to be underwhelmed by it's offerings. The prices here for some of the items on offer were outrageous. I don't mind paying more for handmade crafts and have shelled out large sums in the past but I felt that the prices at this market were a rip off. In saying... More

We took bus from King Cross which is about 15-20 min drive. It is quite easy to find as it is by the roadside. Although the site is not big but there are many stalls selling different things. We enjoyed our visit there although both little kids did not really enjoy the environment there. I like the painting very much... More

If you have a long stay in Sydney, I would recommend visiting this place on Saturday. There are quite a number of stalls, ranging from clothing, jewellery and different types of crafts. All displaying stylish products you couldnt easily find in shops. The food kiosks are impressive, selling regional cuisines and delicacies. I am extremely impressed by the locally produced... More

It's not as busy as it used to be but it's obvious Oxford St has dropped the ball big time! What the hell happened there? Paddington Markets is still very much an upmarket, high quality but high prices. There were probably some bargains in the women's clothing stalls, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

Been to this market twice now when I've been lucky enough to go to Sydney. I've bought some lovely jewellery, specifically rings. Beautifully made silver and bespoke. The market isn't huge, so you don't feel you've done a sponsored walk by the end of it! Also worth mentioning the art on sale here.

Paddington Market is one of my favourite markets. They have a wonderful range of stalls from clothes and jewellery to organic beauty products. The live music is great to listen to as you sit in the courtyard and have some lunch. It is definitely worth visiting.
