It's not as busy as it used to be but it's obvious Oxford St has dropped the ball big time! What the hell happened there? Paddington Markets is still very much an upmarket, high quality but high prices. There were probably some bargains in the women's clothing stalls, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

Been to this market twice now when I've been lucky enough to go to Sydney. I've bought some lovely jewellery, specifically rings. Beautifully made silver and bespoke. The market isn't huge, so you don't feel you've done a sponsored walk by the end of it! Also worth mentioning the art on sale here.

Paddington Market is one of my favourite markets. They have a wonderful range of stalls from clothes and jewellery to organic beauty products. The live music is great to listen to as you sit in the courtyard and have some lunch. It is definitely worth visiting.

We were able to walk from central Sydney to the Market in about 30 minutes and when we arrived were pleasantly surprised with the amount of stalls with great stock to buy. We had lunch at the outdoor eating part which we really enjoyed.

Yep its another market but worth going. Very much a craft style market. Had great fun browsing and seeing what was there. Was gutted that I couldn't find the perfume man but hey ho - we found lots of other things instead

Note that the markets are open on Saturdays from 10 am and close at 4 pm. There is a variety of food to eat here and decent washrooms. Some of Australia's best designers started at Paddington markets and there are still interesting clothes to buy at a good price, including children's clothes. Good for unique gifts too. Especially good for overseas... More

Paddington Markets believe very much in supporting local people passionate about small Australian designers and business. You can find many local authentic creations here. It is only open for business every Saturday.

There is a lot to see at the Paddington Markets that have both indoor and outdoor sections with the latter making up the biggest area. There is also an area where food is offered (I didn't see this till later though) from stalls. Art, adult and children's clothes as well as arts and crafts can be bought. I recommend walking... More

I love to go out sometimes on a Saturday with my girlfriends. A nice day out wondering around Paddington Markets sharing in the fun. Then popping across the road for a nice relaxing lunch. Paddington Markets is always a nice day out to relax and enjoy :)

For me the market is just ok. Very nice, good quality crafts, food, etc. We spent about 45 mins at most. Had a quick lunch there which was quite nice. After that we spend the time walking around the neighborhood. Lots of boutique shops but its clear that Paddington is no longer the main fashion street.
