We went for a slow beach-side walk from Bronte beach to Tamarama beach and were impressed with the lovely sights and sounds we found along the way. It was bright and sunny and the surfers were riding the waves. We had a really great time watching what nature presented to us. A real treat!

Just next to Bondi Beach. Excellent scenery and waves. It's not very big so I'd imagine it could get crowded with not that many people.

You're a bit spoilt for choice on the Sydney Southside beaches with the famous like Bondi and Coogee as well as the less well-known and secluded. In between those two camps is Tamarama comically called "Glamourama" because it is apparently where the 'beautiful people' hang out. (I dunno about that, I was there!) The quality of the sand is superb,... More

Stopped on this beach whilst doing the coastal walk. Lovely, clean, small beach. It was a scorching hot day and the lifeguards were very helpful in "cutting my trousers down to shorts" and giving me a lovely glass of water.

Stunning beach, the next one along from Bondi on the Bondi to Coogee beach walk. It's a small beach with lifeguards, a lovely cafe, toilet and shower facilities, BBQ facilities and a playground. Great for families. Nowhere near as packed as Bondi, and in my eyes, much more beautiful.

This is a relatively smaller beach but is perfect for a family day out and berbucue party. There are options for surfing as well. Best thing is the view from near Marks point. These small cute beaches is what puts Sydney on top of many cities of the world.

Tamarama is a small beach located along the coastal walk between Bondi and Bronte. It's easy to get too and the surfing conditions are fantastic It's a great place to relax and usually isn't packed as Bondi. It's great for children and families.

Went to see Sculptures By the Sea, well worth a look. We started at Tamarama as they have good clean toilets and you can get great coffee. The beach is sheltered and a good place to take children but parking is a hassle and a longish walk and down steps (and backup) to car.
