Shelly beach is a favourite of most locals. It is tucked away and even though it is only a few minutes walk from the bustling Manly, you could be at any quiet beach in Australia.

we grew up around this beach and recently went back with my kids to show them around and its just as i remember, well worth visiting and walking along the rock pools. a great way to spend an afternoon.

This is a beautiful little beach a short scenic 10 minute walk around from Manly. A great place for adults and children to swim, play and have a picnic. It is a marine reserve which is reasonably safe to swim, snorkel or scuba dive. There are a couple of cafes, shade trees, barbeques and limited car parking for a fee.... More

I love this beach. The cafes are nice, the walk up to the ICMS college is great and even if you cross the beach and jut walk up the path, the views are spectacular. Perfect beach.

A lovely gentle stroll that takes you from Manly Beach to Shelley Beach and back; you can even stop and have a coffee on the way. Really pleasant way to take a walk with the Pacific Ocean right at your feet.

Shelly Beach was beautiful. My daughter and I truly enjoyed every minute there. There was plenty do do and the weather was beautiful.

If I go to Manly I always walk around to Shelly Beach. It is particularly nice when the sun is shining and the sun is sparkling on the water. Interesting sculptures at various points along the way in addition to the ones created by nature.

What a lovely spot! Can't believe I have lived in NSW for over 50 years and never found Shelly Beach before. It is a lovely walk around there with great photo opportunities and a lovely café.
