Have a fantastic day out by catching the ferry from Ettalong to Palm Beach for lunch. A twenty minute ferry ride with some lovely scenery will take you to the beautiful wharf at Palm Beach where there are many restaurants and hotels to have lunch then wander along the beach front or go to the surf beach to see where... Palm Beach is gorgeous... well worth a visit... great walk up the beach and if you want fabulous food, walk all the way to the other end and cross over to the other side and go to the Boathouse :-)

We travelled by public transport bus out to Palm Beach on a Sunday ... and the majority of travellers were like us, wanting to see where the TV show Home and Away is filmed. Unfortunately, the bus driver wasn't very forthcoming with knowledge regarding which stop was best to alight. We didn't attempt to walk out to the lighthouse as... More

I've lived in Sydney 43 years and never knew this Ferry service existed. Only located it after taking Norwegian visitors on a Summer Bay trip to North Palm Beach. Absolutely brilliant. We had a gorgeous day, the ferry is large, new and you pass many beautiful sites on the return trip. Highly recommended. Will be returning later in the year... More

Loved this beach! Came here with the other half and swam for hours!! The beach is well patrolled with many life guards. And if ur not a good swimmer you can stay close to the shore because its really deep without having to go out to far. Will be returning for sure.

Wonderful Beach. Good to go on weekend for cycling, walking and good time to exercise in the beach. Then take some sun bath with few rough sea wave experience. Watch out and be careful when you enjoy wave in sea. Even though you are a great swimmer waves are not the same. Ultimately wonderful place for 1/2 day visit.

Hi .. One of the best beaches in North Sydney ... You can see plenty of other beaches near by all are good .. All beaches are above average , good to swim 😄😄 The one thing I hate about visiting Palm beach is expensive parking fees all street around the beach . Good for the local council 😁

Our first trip here was grand with perfect weather and medium surf. It was a training day for the new surf rescue kids and the place had 50 -100 young lifeguards to be all training. Parking is a bit tight so come early. And things are not cheap here. This beach is surrounded with homes...the cheapest in the multi-million range.... More
