Was walking to Opera House and ventured up to the botanical gardens. Wow. So gladi did. Spent much more time here than anywhere else and plan to return. So much to look at love that the locals use their parks to relax, bring a picnic, book sunbath... Best of nature is right here

This is place between the Opera House and the NSW Art Gallery and a lovely place to stop between the two. There are various sections, good walking paths, lovely viewsof the harbour and places to eat.

Such a wonderfully relaxing place on the doorstep of the city. You see new things around every corner and there are plenty of benches to sit and admire the surroundings. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of sightseeing!

From Circular Quar to Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, it was a lovely walk two hours before sunset. I only wished I had taken a walk through the gardens before so I could have at least two visits here. It's a peaceful place with a scattering of runners/joggers, tourists, and book readers and lawn loungers. And it's free! Do it early on... More

Visited the botanical gardens last week and thought it was well worth the trip. A lot of the flowers were in bloom so this added to the attractiveness. Overall very nice and manicured laws. Also a nice walk around the waterfront. Also an easy walk from the Opera house and the free city shuttle bus.
