Bondi Beach is one of my favourite places in the world. Nothing can be more beautiful than the blue at Bondi on a clear day. The sand is clean, soft and powder-fine. The Bondi Icebergs nearby are a must see! The coastal walk is also very enjoyable, with great views throughout. We went during the annual Sculpture by the Sea... More

I guess every tour company promotes Bondi as the iconic Sydney beach, but there are more than a dozen beaches along the Sydney coastline that are just as accessible. From Cronulla in the south to Palm Beach in the north they all have their individual qualities, they are all good for swimming, some are better for board riding, but they... More

One and only chance to visit Sidney at the age of 63. Five days with so much to see. Caught a Hop on Hop off bus so only had a few hours at the beach. Had been advised by Ausies and other nationalities that Manly was the better beach. They were probably right but Bondi is so famous I had... More

I used the Sydney tourist bus to get here, was very quick . As it was Australia's winter and the kids were at school the beach was empty and peaceful just a few surfers. Enjoyed sitting on one of the world's most famous beaches, luckily it was 18 degrees, nice for chilling out !

I did not find this beach to be much better than others I have seen in other parts of the world. There is a nice board walk and the beach is clean. What's so special? Its really just a beach with a board walk. It makes for a nice place for lunch or dinner.

Easy to park, great vibe, cafés and fantastic promenade. Parking a little expensive but worth it for the views!

Wow, wow, wow! If you go to Sydney then you HAVE to visit Bondi Beach. Stunning views on the way down to the bay, and breath taking when you are there. Its easy to sit and watch the surfers, whilst your day flies slowly by.

Hopped on the Sydney Explorer to and from Bondi Beach, just around half an hour's trip. Upon arriving, I excitedly ran towards the beachfront, taking in the views and it was fantastic! Loved the feel of cool powdery sand on my toes and the calm breeze. Not much for swimming that day though with the sun barely visible, the waves... More

We took the public bus from Alfred Street near circular quay. We paid in cash to the driver and he gave us back change. Wow, it is convenient that you do not need to find the exact value. This is a beautiful beach and the sand is fine and white.

It is really a beautiful blue. No wonder Apple have their iMac colour named after it. Very windy, good wave, pity that I was there in Winter. It should be a very good place for surfing. Everyone should go if they are visiting Sydney.
