I am bit of a beach bum, and have been to many top surf beaches. Bondi is simply awesome and you can rent a board for A am UD15 per hour. Food is reasonable and people are very friendly (unlike LA beaches). Talking to a lifeguard and got a picture was a highlight for my daughter as she is a... More

I found the beach a little disappointing due to the commercial location behind it. The wall art at the back of the beach was stunning and very high quality.

The day we visited Bondi beach it had been raining heavily in Sydny so we took the hop on hop off bus. It wasn't the best weather but we were able to walk on the beach. It was so much smaller than I had imagined, like a bay rather than a long stretch of beach. There were a few surfers... More

Bondi is iconic. It is a lovely sandy beach. Amazing views. We took the bus from Sydney and walked to the left of the beech and up a bit of a cliff. Got to see all the lovely people who were there to enjoy themselves and pose. Found the Bondi tiled tables and got a photo :)

It was a little bit cold and windy when we came. But it's still a lot of people there. Relaxing in the sand. The sand is very fine anf white And the sun makes it warmer.

Of course there are nicer beaches in the world especially in our own country, Ireland, but none as iconic as Bondi! We spent a lovely few hours there on a very hot day. My OH decided to purchase a pair of swimming shorts and go for a swim which he enjoyed immensely! I had the most glorious walk from one... More

We visited Bondi beach at the end of Nov but can't believe it was still very cold in Sydney especially in Bondi beach. We went there at around 7pm and I think it is one of the best timing as the sky slowly turned from blue to purple colour which was really fantastic. Overall experience is great although the parking... More

Bondi Beach is certainly the best beach I have been to, and I travel quite a bit. One of the few things in Sydney you can do cheaply is go to the beach, and that's why it's a popular pastime with the locals as well as with tourists. I spent an afternoon there, and it was very busy. I suspect... More
