It was a little bit cold and windy when we came. But it's still a lot of people there. Relaxing in the sand. The sand is very fine anf white And the sun makes it warmer.

This is the most spectacular stretch of beach/ water you will ever see ... I was in awe of it. Standing facing these huge waves coming in ill never forget..... More

Of course there are nicer beaches in the world especially in our own country, Ireland, but none as iconic as Bondi! We spent a lovely few hours there on a very hot day. My OH decided to purchase a pair of swimming shorts and go for a swim which he enjoyed immensely! I had the most glorious walk from one... More

We visited Bondi beach at the end of Nov but can't believe it was still very cold in Sydney especially in Bondi beach. We went there at around 7pm and I think it is one of the best timing as the sky slowly turned from blue to purple colour which was really fantastic. Overall experience is great although the parking... More

Bondi Beach is certainly the best beach I have been to, and I travel quite a bit. One of the few things in Sydney you can do cheaply is go to the beach, and that's why it's a popular pastime with the locals as well as with tourists. I spent an afternoon there, and it was very busy. I suspect... More

I was quite amazed by the white and fine sand. I couldnt believe it until i went there and touch the sand. from the train station at the bondi junction, it is very quick and easy to get to bondi beach. Then, you may find a lot of restaurants where you could eat at an affordable price.

We visited this beach in Jan this year, wow what a beach. Crystal clear turquoise sea, fab waves, be careful though, they can knock you off your feet. I am a strong swimmer but did not venture far out. Great to see the rescue team, and we saw a real life rescue ! Hot day no where to shelter, we... More

Big beach and lot of surf. Great views.... I prefer Bondi to Manly beach. The surrounding shops etc is cuter at Manly but the beach itself is much nicer...

What a disappointment in Bondi Beach. On TV it looks bigger, although quite a small city beach. Great surf, although beaches in the Gold Coast are perhaps just as good if not better, especially around Byron Bay. Bondi Beach area is a bit shabby and past it's best, relying too much on past glories.
