loved the atmosphere and the beach itself, but I am obviously too accustomed to European beaches. I mean, come on, no eating on the beach, no drinking, no smoking...what next, no talking or sunbathing. I'm all for clean beaches and there is nothing worse than Litter on a beach, but surely education is the key, not prohibition.

It was my first time to see bondi beach. I particularly love the fine sand and the cleanliness of the beach, though the wind was so cold we couldn't get in the water. My son enjoyed playing in the sand while we sit there to people watch. A nice place to relax! :)

7.00am on a September morning we watched the sun come up over Bondi beach as the 'beautiful people' completed their early morning exercise routine. From the running, walking, swimming and surfing of the action minded to the meditating calm of those more at peace with the world, the spectacle was amazing and we were thrilled to let the experience lap... Stunning beach, great for people watching and for surfing lessons, but for some strange reason Manly beach was much more appealing and welcoming. It's a good 45-min bus trip from the city.but I'm sure there are plenty of similar but less popular places around, which I unfortunately I didn't have time to discover...

Upon arrival at Bondi, my breath was taken away. Bar the throngs of people, the sights and sounds were a feast. Let the sounds of rushing waves wash away any worries, and take a refreshing walk in the trail. One more thing- the fish and chips located in the stall around the beach was TO-DIE-FOR.

A bit of a tourist trap...don't get me wrong, the beach is beautiful, but you can find other ones less crowded.

It is a beach, it is in Bondi, strangely it reminded my family of an old English seaside resort. Like the views, the people on it and the parking facilities but there are better beaches in Australia, and let's face it Sydney. Worth visiting as it is the home of the Bucket List restaurant, fabulous.

Plenty of other beaches better than this one... only thing going for it is that Sydney is on its doorstep. Venture further from the populated areas for the best and most pristine beaches.

This beach is a lovely spot. We drove here from the city and found a parking spot right near the beach. Definitely worth as visit :)

We were on beach on public holiday and could get glimpse of Sydney's crowd here. The water is clean and one would bound to enjoy nice waves.
