Was the first time my husband saw the Pacific ocean hit just before dusk, surfers risking a night feed for a night ride tourists I would guess. Nice but it's spring not warm enough for a dip

I think I had high expectations of Bondi beach given its popularity with locals and tourists, I however was slightly underwhelmed. There are nicer beaches in Sydney but it is pretty amazing that a beach like this and it's size can be found within a city. There are plenty of places to grab a bite or drink.

Take a leisurely stroll or for the more athletic Jog along the beach. Magical Views. Amazing food outlets, Great Steakhouses, Gelato stores, Plenty of Places to shop and plenty of places to do nothing. Grab some fish and chips and head for the beach - expect to have to share a few chips with the local seagulls ...

We visited last weekend as the weather has warmed. As usual traffic and parking were cruel which meant we actually couldn't get out of the car at the beach but had to drive through. The area looks like it's been regenerated since I was last there. It seemed cleaner and brighter. The beach looked spotless and the surf looked incredible... More

It's definitely a must-do for tourists. It is very nice, the waves are great for surfing, and everyone there seems to have a perfect body. But honestly, I don't understand why it is so special. Sydney has lots of beautiful beaches, and to me Bondi is just one more. The best part is that you can walk south to Coogee... More

We stayed with a friend just a few blocks from the beach and walked to have coffee and breakfast then a rest on the beach and a swim. It was a beautiful day, breakfast was a delicious frittata, a small press of dark roast, and lovely friendly people to chat with on the beach.

This is iconic. If you are in the centre, just catch a bus and you are here in less than 20 minutes. The scenery is something you only see in Hollywood movies. Breathtaking. Go for a walk, talk to surfers and dog walkers, all lovely people. We then went to a golf club nearby with an outdoor swimming pool for... More

Whether you are local (Sydneysider) or a visitor from afar, this is THE place to visit if you want to experience a Sydney beach! Don't get me wrong, it is now been 'touristed up to the max', so expect to pay slightly higher process for everything here, but for this experience, it's well worth it! went again this past weekend... Went to Bondi for a short visit but enjoyed it much. The beach was clean and the sands were awesome. Took a short sunbathing with my cousin and enjoying the breeze. Great place to chill out with friends and family
