As an avid Robert G Barrett fan I have always wanted to see Bondi Beach, home of his iconic hero " Les Norton " Was not disappointed. We walked along Campbell Parade , had breakie in cafe overlooking the beach, then walked to Bondi Pavilion. Great spot very popular with international tourists. The beach and bay were spectacular

This beach is something to experience. The sand, sights and water are all beautiful. Take a walk along and see the TV stars themselves, you might even get your 15mins of fame, but be careful of the rips and stay between the flags for swimming.

Bondi is an iconic beach for anyone wanting to sample the sea and surf, and my first views did not disappoint. We caught the bus from Sydney however, which was packed and very slow and we were desperate to disembark at first site of the beach. We settled in a corner with some rocks to rest by and bathed in... I love Bondi Rescue so let's start with that. I thought I knew a lot about the beach beach before I went but it was actually even nicer than I expected. The beach itself was very clean and managed very well by the (now famous) lifeguards. We were there during the filming season, which I found particularly interesting as l... More

This place is one of the reasons we keep coming back to Sydney - we love Bondi. Beach is great, surf is (usually) great, people are friendly, life guards interesting to watch in action and it is easy to get to by train/bus via Bondi Junction. Basic changing facilities and showers available. Plenty of good coffee shops. Excellent walk from... More

I'm sorry I know here it is the most famous beach perhaps in the world, but for us it was ugly and also very crowded with people everywhere which made it difficult to enjoy. The shops for food they were very expensive for us and I think you would enjoy manly beach better if you have to make the choice... More

While you must visit Bondi, there's no need to stay; just continue along the shore to some of the other more quaint beaches. Bondi is huge and touristy. There are tons of stores for tshirt shopping. There are tons of seagulls too and for the swimmers, the great whites have been spotted! As for us...been there, done that...check!

Loved my time in Bondi, we stayed in the Bondi beach apartments that were a 2min walk away from here! We also did a walk from Bondi to Coogee which you have to do if you go, beautiful walk and a beautiful place I have to go back!
