This is another must do. Beautiful sights - lots of little kiddies on scooters. Safe well maintained walk-way. Bicycles are not allowed on the walkway on weekends.

This walk is stunning and highlights how incredibly beautiful Sydney is. The first time I walked from the Spit bridge to Manly where I had a swim and lunch and then walked back. It was a great way to spend a sunny day in Sydney. These days, I do the Clontarf Reserve to Forty Baskets Beach part of the walk... More

The hike around Manly is beautiful. Saw the beach, the ocean, the wild parrots and the largest ficus tree you can ever imagine. We happened to be there during Taste of Manly do that was an unexpected bonus. Take some water and a small snack if you haven't just eaten since it does take a little while to make the... More

This is a very beautiful walk on the harbour. It's easy too, mostly flat and the tracks are marked well. We started from Manly to Spit Bridge and back to Manly. It took us 3.5hours but we had breaks. Bring snacks and about 1 litre of water. If you need something to eats, there is a shop in Spit Bridge... More

You could walk for hours along this walkway, with stunning views of the water on one side, and lush plantings on the other. We didn't get as far as the aboriginal markings unfortunately, but enjoyed the walk anyway. Do bring your own water because it's quite a distance from beginning to end.

We took the ferry from Sydney Harbour and had a great day in Manly. The walkway is level, an easy hike - and there are interesting things along the way - plants and animals (saw seals on the rocks) and some avant garde art. A nice leisurely afternoon.

Well, it was raining when we were there. We walked no matter and there were plenty of companies. It was beautiful. It's a bit different than normal beach crazy. It's more relaxing, more civil, and with lots of good restaurants around. Nice!! [If you run out of time, go to the Bondi Beach coastal walk instead of Manly beach walk.]

Beautiful views on the walk. The children really loved running along on the rocks next to the walkway - highlight of their trip.
