The design of the Sydney opera house is very clever - the outside looks to us like a collection of large shells, with a patterned outer surface. We took a tour of the interior of the building, which is well worth doing.

Lovely sight day and night. I would love to go back. The tour of the interior of the opera house was nice as well. Several restaurants on the pier to eat and enjoy the view or the bridge and the opera house.

Having arrived back home in Sydney on a cruise ship, we decided to take a tour from our ship of our world famous icon.... The Sydney Opera House. It was such an enjoyable experience and we learned so much about the famous building. Behind the scenes was eye opening. The experience was wrapped up with a lunch at the Opera... More

This was an amazing building both inside and out. It is definitely one of the very good attractions in Sydney. I wish we would have been able to attend an event there, but it was all sold out on the days we were in Sydney. I guess I should have made a reservation before we left on our trip.

we had an amazing evening out having dinner on the waterfront just by the opera house and then went to see the nutcracker ballet. The views were fabulous and a great, buzzy atmosphere.

We took a tour at the opera house (highly recommend it as you get to go behind the scene) and watched a practice performance of the Jingle Bell Rock. It was so awesome that we decided to watch the show during the same night. Overall it's really a great experience. The fact that we learned about the opera house made... More

As one of the world's most recognizable structures, the Sydney Opera House is magnificent from afar as well as up close. Having visited many of the old world's opera houses, steeped in tradition and traditional charm, the Sydney Opera House is such a departure from this tradition, yet provides a scale and depth in almost an other world sense. Unfortunately... More

While in Sydney I toured the opera house and saw a play there. The tour was very informative, telling you about the history of the building, very interesting stuff. Tour was 1 hour long, which is just enough time for you to see it and take it all in. On the website it says they have a restaurant open late,... More
