As I ,mentioned earlier. You have to visit this place as its a landmark. There is nothing much in opera house. But nice architecture to click good selfies so that world knows you been to australia.

We thoroughly enjoyed a tour of the Opera House. Our guide was so interesting and obviously loved her job. The building is quite beautiful and it was great to see all the different rooms and know something about the history. The surrounding view is spectacular.

This is more than just an icon on sydney harbour. As well as taking lots of pictures from every angle it is also a working concert hall and opera and drama theatres. Be sure to book a show and enjoy this aspect of the opera house. There are also behind the scenes tours. I have done one of these in... More

We took a one-hour tour of this magnificent building and loved every minute of it! The first thing we learned is that there are actually two buildings housing 4 major performing arts spaces. We toured each theatre and every one was spectacular. The biggest is the Concert Hall which seats 2,690. The history of the Opera House is fascinating. Danish... More

If you're not going to watch a show (like us), at least hang at the cafe and buy yourself a beer. The views are incredible and stunning, I even like the flying and perching seagulls that, in my opinion, adorn the views. The area is also very clean with clean restrooms too. Other popular spots are also just nearby.

Before taking the tour, we spent a lot of time walking around the outside of the building and so were very excited to get into the interior. Unfortunately, the tour did not quite live up to my expectations. The one-hour tour cost $35, and we spent at least 10 minutes of that in public places that we could have seen... More

The Opera House can be enjoyed from a ferry, harborside stroll, hotel room, or on-site. It is a wonderful piece of architecture and it looks beautiful at and also lit up at night. Even if you don't attend a performance there, it is totally worth walking to and exploring the facility. There are tours, souvenir shops, places to eat, and... More

A visionary design by Jorg Utzon, and with a story of controversy both before and during construction, it has undoubtedly succeeded in making Sydney forever recognizable (and with much more elegance than the clunky Harbour Bridge). The interiors are maybe slightly dated, but the main hall still is very beautiful. Go to a concert or even better an opera.

A must do for any visitor to Sydney. It is easy to access from Circular Quay and you can walk right around the building, climb the many steps and take a tour through the various theatres inside. Great picture opportunities of the harbour as well.
